( THE RULES)
You know you love them! Just read these rules
to have the best experience here at rpg name here!

( GETTING STARTED)

Alright, so first of all, you need to register with
your character's first, middle and last name.
If you need a name change don't worry, once
approved Admins will work on changing that
for you.

You need to do your application above anything
else! You start and post your application in the
pending application section available. Please,
Please make sure you put WIP (work in progress)
or IC (incomplete) if you have not finished, and
when you have please, please put DONE. This just
makes it easier for us admins to accept you as soon
as possible. We ask that you do give us at least 48
hours to read through and accept your application.
Once accepted.. you will then need to post in the
face claim, following the other claims. DO NOT
post if your application isn't accepted..

Any signs of nagging, via cbox, pm or of the sort
will prolong the review process. So dont! Just
be patient.

Please talk to us! That is what the C-BOX is for!
We are very sociable here at midnight sun, and
we are welcoming to all new members, so don't

( C-BOX)

So, here's the deal. Don't go advertising in the C-BOX!
Seriously, that is what the advertising board is for.
Don't worry, people will see it if they want to, stop
making us!

No fighting! Guys, really, be mature. Don't act like six
year olds and fight over stupid things. I've seen and
heard them enough to know that they are annoying!

Same rules apply for IC. You don't have to be approved
to join in but please be aware of the sticky messages
at the top of the IC box before joining in.

Remember: Don't be shy! We LOVE to chat with you!
Just make sure to follow these rules or your I.P. will
be temporarily suspended.

( ROLEPLAYING)

First things first, sex & drugs WILL happen. But,
there is one exception, alert other memebers by
putting X or M in the title, if you want to go all
out, then please contact a member of staff as there
is a mature board (password protected) available
for those over 18!

We ask that anyone who takes a cannon character be
able to post AT LEAST once a week or so. We say this
because our minimum word count requirement is so
low and because Cannon characters are going to be
wanted to be role played with and it is only fair to make
sure that happens. If you go a long time without posting
with your cannon character and do not leave an absence
notice, you will be contacted by the admins and notified
of your options.

There is no limit to how many words you type!
The more the better, but there is a soft minimum of
300 words per post. With group threads we know
it can be distracting to write long posts, so this won't
be strictly monitored. But be aware of your rp friends.

Do not, do not, do not reply to a post that someone
spent 2 hours on, and post 1 clumsy paragraph. It
is very unfair, and it will be deleted by the admins.

Any new threads have to start with a date at the
beginning of the post with the current season.
Ex: January 3, 2008. This helps us move the plot along
and note it down for MS history (also our wiki).

Remember spell check! Grammar check! We can be picky
, unintentionally. It just makes for a better rp
experience if you worry about the obvious.
Capatilization is one of the musts.
We don't mean to be nagging asses, BUT we it is
just a pet-peave of most people. Thanks.

( CHARACTERS)

There is no limit on how many characters you can
have and we do have a nice little 'switch character'
link availble for you to make life easier, which saves
you logging out and logging back in! See arn't we nice?

Please do not whine if the face claim you wanted is
taken. We don't want to hear it. You can PM the person
and ask them if you want to be twins.. or.. your out
of luck. It isn't the end of the universe if you don't
have the face you want.

No Mary-Sue's or Gary-Sue's allowed. ALL people have
flaws and your characters have to too! No God-modding
allowed, unless its an NPC.

Any plots revolving around the Canon Covens : Olympic,
Volturi, Quileute Packs. Will need approval/permission,
by respective coven leaders along with admins before plot
takes place. We may be AU but we can be protective of the
canon covens so no buts, get the clearance.

NEW! I will add this now before I forget. Stephanie Meyer did state in an interview that Vegetarian vampires are rare, and the only known ones are the Cullen's and the Denali's So therefore I will NOT be accepting masses, upon masses of Vegetarian Vampires. I have a limit and I shall stick to it XD. A list of how many veggies, and hybrids will be posted based on geography to help with the limitation. Once these are filled no more will be allowed.

--Addendum: Due to some consideration by our members. In order to allow equal range in vampire strengths those who wish to give their vampire/hybrid/human a power will have to acknowledge the 50/50 RULE! Essentially, if you select a power for your char provided under the Power Claim or on your own. Upon review it will be determined by a 50/50 flip! (or coin toss) whether that char gets the ability. Admins will toss a coin 3 times choosing either heads or tails. Should you not get the ability, you have up to 3 days to change and edit your application with either a different ability or none at all. Each application will have up to 3 tries to get an ability, and if luck should have it that your char never get a power then that is the unfortunate piece to the game. ONLY APPLIES ON OC APPLICATIONS.

( ACTIVITY)

Can you please, please, please stay active?
We cannot stress this enough, it is okay if
you have to go on vacation or something like
that, but don't just dissapear, post on the
leaving forum or the talk forum, please.
We'll think you died if you don't tell us!

We will have activity checks probably every
month or so, and if you don't make two activity
checks, we will send out an email, and if you
don't reply we will have to delete your account.
