How do I post a historical book?
You don't. If you wish to have a historical book you wrote placed into the forum, you must PM Derek Elan with the book. Please only send the first chapter. If Derek decides it is "historical enough" he will post it up with credit to you. After that, you may post the rest of the chapters as replies. If you wish for no one to reply to the topic until the story is complete, then please let Derek know when you send in the first chapter, and he will place something about that. When the book is done, please put "THE END" at the end of the final chapter. What is a "cook book"? It's a topic you post with a recipe of some sort. Example: If you want to post a recipe for meatloaf, you would put the topic title as "Meatloaf" then inside you would put how you make it. Afterwards, people may reply to it. Please limit 1 recipe per topic. Why do I have to put *REAL* or *FAKE* in the topic description? So we can know whether the recipe is a real recipe or not. If it is not, people will not want to make it (unless they are daring). However, if it is real, then perhaps you will get people who might actually try to make it. It is up to them. However, this helps us know which ones are just made up reci.pes made sothat the Cook Book is not empty, or if it is a real recipe you have made yourself (or had made for you) and that might be enjoyable. Do you allow fanfictions? No, this is not a fanfiction forum. if you want fanfictions go to fanfiction.net. This is for posting stories that have to deal with this world. If it is a fanfiction of Versumi, then it is allowed. I want to write a historical book, but I don't know anything about Versumi. Well, you can always PM the creator of Versumi (me) and ask about things. I'm always happy to answer any questions regarding my world. However, do know that my world is STILL in production, and I do not have a list of all the cities, or a map or anything. (If anyone wants to help out with this, I will give credit!) Will you post any commercial books here? No, I will not post my books here, however, I might write short, 1 chapter versions of the books. But none of them will go into extreme detail as my books will. What do you mean by "Fantasy Books"? Isn't this a fantasy world? Yes, this is a fantasy world, which is why the meaning of "Fantasy" in this world is different. In our world, Fantasy is medieval stuff, however, in Versumi, fantasy books would be sci-fi, futuristic books. So, if our worlds were the same looking and everything, then Star Trek would be considered Fantasy, while something like Sword of Shinara (or however it's spelled) would be considered "Sci-fi" or "historical" depending on if it is a true occurance or not. So...can I post any books I've written here, then? Only if it is either 1) about Versumi in some way (has places that are in Versumi in it), or 2) are sci-fi outer space type adventures, which would go in the fantasy section, OR 3) are recipes of some weird food or something like that. If it is any of these, then yes you may. However, if it is a fanfiction (i.e. Oliver and Company 2, Tokyo Mew Mew: Baku Saga, Digimon: Call of darkness (YES! These are all my fanfictions)) then no. Again, for those there is already a fanfiction site here fanfiction.net. |
