Many years ago there was a land called Matria. The races lived there together in peace, though they all had their racial pride. Then came the war. The land was divided into 5 nations, Spierwit in the north, Edelsten in the west, Sawa in the south, Blozend in the East, and in the middle of it all Eusi. Each nation is fighting to survive, with individuals and races struggling for control.
Come find your place in the Realms of Matria. With several fantasy races and classes to choose from, you are sure to find a home with us!

The Land of Sand
Setting sail from Port Trade in Blozend you head south in a small ship, having paid whatever gold the captain asked in return for your transport. As you cross the sea you spot a sandy expanse. Drawing closer you realize it is two small islands, one even smaller than the other. It is this second one that the ship moors at, landing in the small village of Port Lafis. This village speciallizes mostly in sacrificial offerings. Just to north of the village is a temple to the goddess Usaru, known as the goddess of love. Couples from across the nations have gathered here to make offerings, and get married. It is legend that the goddess and her elven lover live on the larger island. Few travel there, for it is nothing but desert, but those seeking wisdom may make the voyage to the center of the island, where there is a monastary with a large library known as the Great Library. Here lie tome containing all the history of the nations compiled since the civil war. All documents before then are said to have been destroyed. Within the library, a group of monks works, quickly writing in suprisingly neat script.

Marauder's Island
As your ship sails through the western sea you see what appears to be a safe, enclosed harbor. To the west and east of the channel leading into the bay cliffs rise, sheer and menacing. As far as you can see from the sea approaching the island, the cliffs stretch around the barrier.
