Game just finished. Gotta say, I was quite impressed with Matt Cassel this game. Granted it was against the Jets who only won 4 games last season, but I saw some flashes of a very solid QB. Some of the passes he missed, he missed by a lot, but the guy looked solid, I was impressed, and the Patriots 'D' did an excellent job. Hope to see this continue.

Moss didn't do anything though.

But I've been convinced since the fall of Tom Brady last week. The Pats have an extremely talented team, and they don't absolutely neeeeeed Tom Brady in order to be a successful team.

Wes Welker has proven himself only once, Bloss, and that was with a man who goes by the name of Tom Brady. When Brady's throwing your passes, it's much easier to have great numbers. What ever happened to that one Stokley guy from the Colts? Exactly.

The Pats played well today. Cassel made some mistakes which was pretty expected of him, but the Pats as a team played very well.

I loved that sick sack at the end of Brett Favre. That was nasty.

I kinda disagree. I was one of the guys who said the Pats would be fine with Cassel and win 10 or 11 games but I'm not so sure. Seems they do not think he can throw the deep ball, and when you have Randy Moss, throwing the deep ball is a must.

I see them as an 8 or 9 win team at best unless he improves.

I still think that they win 10 or 11, even though Moss did nothing. I don't think it's a Super Bowl team at all though, I mean, with Tom Brady they probably with 13 games this year, he makes too big a difference.

I don't know a whole lot about the NFL but even I know the Patriots are a solid team without Brady.

Cassel could certainly improve, especially in the red zone, but the Pats are still the class of the division I think.

On another note, San Diego gets completely buttfucked in Denver.

I saw that it was like 31-30 with 10 minutes to go in the 4th Quarter. What happened?

I don't think so, I think the Pats win it, barely, but I mean, it's just not going to be the year that was expected.

Jay Cutler is on the the San Diego like 5.

He drops back to throw, but sees nothing. He scrambles and tries to throw to one of his recievers.

As he is raising his arm, the ball falls out and is recovered by one of the Chargers. The play is called an incomplete pass. Upon review, the play stands. The ref later admits that it should have been a fumble, but because of the fact he blew the whistle as the ball hit the ground, that the play was dead. There was about 30 seconds left in the 4th at the time. Cutler then throws a TD to Eddie Royal. Shanahan gets two for the same play over again to Royal.

Game over.

God I hope your kidding... He runs short slants and takes the punishment there is no proving yourself....

Randy Moss doesnt have to do anything he just has to be on the field, he demands double coverage which opens up things underneath...

I hope your not comparing Wes Welker to Brandon Stokley...

hahha yea Adalius Thomas basically just dragged Brady and the OT guy on their jerseys like 20 yards then just threw them on the ground, I wanted Brett to win by a miracle though.

It was Leon Washington, a RB. The day he becomes an OL is the day pigs fly

oh never mind, I thought he was one of the tackles because he was blocking Adalius Thomas. He and Favre got manhandled back then though.

You say this like it validates the statement more or something. That's borderline retarded.
