Tomera Beckwl vs. Reine Nezaki, Beastmaster vs. Wolfgirl

"Ah..."

The young girl was just laying herself down to sleep. She had no idea that she was about to be jolted awake by a friend...

"Four...nine..."

A young lion came by, noticed the girl, and started sniffing.

"Eh...stop that..."

It picked up the girl and her sleeping bag, and started running. The force of the run finally woke up the girl.

"Okay, what's going on here? I was sleeping, and now I'm being moved? By who..."

Just then she had turned to see the lion. She didn't know whether to scream or relax.

The lion dropped her off at a park. Standing a few metres away was a girl she hadn't seen before.

"Eigh..."

She immediately removed herself from her sleeping bag and stood straight up. She failed to realize she was only in her pajama pants and shirt.

"Uh, it's a pleasure to meet you...my name's Tomera. What's your name?"

She was still visibly shaken as she wobbily held out her hand.

Reine was startled to see a lion just run by and drop off a girl in a bag. At first she began to wonder and fear what the lump was...until the girl stood up. She was just relieved it wasn't a random body. After blinking in confusion she smiled, figuring that the lion had no ill purpose. She then shook the girl's shaky hand.

"My name is Reine, nice to meet you too."

Her eyes moved to the lion and she blinked at it.

"May I ask...is that a friend of yours? 'Cause apparently it got you when you were sleeping..."

"Hehehe...I thought it was a friend of yours. Since your name is Reine, you must be my sparring partner, deshou~?
Somehow, that lion knew what was going on before I did."

She straightened up fully, then went back to the lion and petted it.

"Hmm. Hmm. Tell you what. I'll give you the opportunity to determine what we'll do today, alright? I can help you train endurance, fortitude, or anything of the sort."

She patted the lion on the left side, and it rolled over, purring like a cat. She reached for its underbelly and started playfully scratching it. She turned her head towards her opponent once again to speak.

"Or, if you want, we can do a sparring battle. Each, and, either, or. Take your pick."

Tomera resumed scratching the purring lion's underbelly.

She nodded in confirmation when she was asked the first question. When asked to take her pick of the choices, she began to scratch the back of her head...That's a good question. She shrugged her shoulders.

"I guess a spar would be good. Better to know where I stand to know what I need to improve, right?"

She smiled in a friendly manner as she stood up straight and put her hands up in fists, she had no distinct fighting stance since she had no special fighting style. Her eyes remained fixed on Tomera.

"Don't be too abusive now, I'm quite rusty!"

Something is telling me I better stay on my toes...

"Alright then."

She took one look at the girl's "stance" and whispered to herself. Being a combat instructor, she could tell one's experience by just looking at his or her stance.

She seems like a beginner with no stance at all, but...looks are deceiving, I know.

"I think I'll go without my full strength now. Just so you know, I'll raise it at any time I feel you're stronger than me."

She took out a deck of cards. On the back of each of them was a chibi-fied 2d version of herself, using her hands to make a peace sign. She picked the top card up and spun it.

"Ah! The four of hearts."

The card floated downwards. As it touched the grass, the grass immediately rose up, as if to impale. As quickly as they had risen up, they returned back to their natural state. Tomera herself was untouched.

((OOC: my apologies, i kind of got grounded for grades XD))

She stared intently as her opponent drew the card from the pile. Her insticts told her something was up with those cards and she crouched down ready to evade anything that came at her. Right before the card hit the ground she pushed herself from the ground in an attempt to dodge sideways from an attack directed straight for her. She didn't expect the grass to rise, let alone all of it. Because she had jumped off to the side a slight ripping sound was heard as a blade caught the bottom of her left pantleg, barely missing her ankle. This threw her off balance but she caught herself, mere seconds after the grass retracted, on her finger tips and feet similar to a feral form and she looked up with a look of pure shock in her face.

Jesu Christo*! That was insane...I need to expect anything from now on. What is this girl!?

"May I ask..what are you?!"

I'm probably get a run for my money...
