Sanyu sighed. "Well, darn," he said, tapping the attached file. "There goes any TV time later."

Roderick took a look at his watch and then glanced up towards the skyline.

"Well, it's been a pleasure talking with you," he spoke. "But I'd best be going. Good luck with your performances." Stein bowed politely and began to walk off. He stopped, however, and turned back around. "Oh, before I leave, take this." The magician handed Fey a pamphlet. Fey opened it and read it.

The pamphlet was for a Magic Competition in the Willshire Hills theater in a couple of days. It was open to all skill levels, it seemed, and free to enter. There were prizes and... it was going to be televised!

"Please, consider entering. Someone with your talents should definitely join the competition!" Stein said with a grin.

"T-Thank you!" Fey said. Her face turned red for a moment. It was quite an honor to be offered to enter by the famous Roderick Stein! The professional magician bowed again, tipped his hat, and walked away out of sight.

Meanwhile, Vulpecula watched intently. This girl. This girl would be the key to her plan. But how to approach her? She didn't look as weak-willed as Vulpecula had hoped. She would have to figure out away to take advantage of this girl's heart. Suddenly, Vulpecula felt an odd sensation. Her ears twitched as she looked up...

Several, small aircraft hovered in the sky. They displayed various advertisements on their projected wave screens. These were Advert Ships, and weren't uncommon in city locations. Suddenly, one of them began to emit sparks! The screen crackled and vanished. The advert ship began to lose altitude!

Several people noticed this. A man passed by Sanyu and stopped in his tracks.

"What in the world...! Hey, look at that!" the man said as he looked up! He pointed in the direction of the malfunctioning Advert Ship!

Sanyu looked up, eyes widening. "The heck is this?!" he asked. "This is... I don't even..." he then sighed again, taking out his Star Carrier. "Transcode 040, Space Tetrad!" he exclaimed, transforming into his Wave Changed form and heading toward the Advert Ship using the Wave Roads as he took out a battle card, which had a black rocket on an orange background, and a large number 1 on it. "Battle Card! Set!" He then inserted the battle card into the Star Carrier, and an orange rocket appeared over his hand, sending him blasting toward the falling ship!!

OOC: By the way, I think in waved-change form, they just "use" the cards without having to set them through the terminals. But I'm not going to be picky about it, since they never elaborate on it in the games. That, and your character's a special case.

The bystanders around Sanyu stared at him for a moment in confusion as he pulled out his now out-of-vogue terminal and shouted what sounded like nonsense. They then gasped as he suddenly transformed into an armored individual. Sanyu was apparently not careful to alter his visible frequency when he Wave Changed. Among the slow murmur of voices that falled, several individual phrases stood out.

"Whoa! What in the...!?"

"Did he just get a fancy costume?"

"Hey dad! That's so cool! Is he an action hero!?"

"Hey, you think he's related to Mega Man?"

Further murmurs of surprise were yelped after Sanyu blasted off using the Rocket card!

Meanwhile, the airship hadn't completely lost its propulsion, so it wasn't falling as fast. It was still falling, however! Not everyone was aware of the situation it seemed, but more and more people were looking up to say the least, at least in reaction to the strange, armored guy with a rocket for an arm! Fey herself looked up, noticing the approaching airship! It was actually headed straight for HER!

"Oh... my...!" She started to speak! She cut herself short, quickly reaching for her bag and deactivating her Real Wave stall! She stuffed the projector into the bag and started to move away from her position!

From Sanyu's position, he could not only land onto the ship, but there were also nearby Wave Roads he could land on. It looked possible to Pulse-Into the Advert Ship's computer and diagnose the problem.

"Sweet! Wave Roads!" he shouted, landing on the closest one that lead to the Advert Ship's computer before disabling the Rocket card. "Now... I gotta Pulse-Into, right...?"

The ship was still moving. Within a few moments, it would be harder to Pulse-In from Sanyu's current position. It was now or never!

Sanyu decided to go ahead and Pulse-In, and take care of the problem...
