Name: Frostclaw.EXE

Species: Water Net Navi - Male

Affiliation/Occupation: Personal Navi

Physical Description: Frostclaw appears to be an anthropomorphic cat, a shorthair to be precise. He has an even spread of white and slightly blue-ish tones of fur. While he does appear lithe, he doesn't give the impression to be one that is strong. He bears cyan-coloured eyes. His clothing changes with seasons, but he mostly wears loose fitting attire over his frame.

Net Op: Rauku Saharjo

Zenny: 1000

Equipment:
Frostclaws: Frostclaw.EXE was designed to be more of a support type Navi in terms of combat and utility. He can transfer very minor, data-repairing software to recover an ally's lost/damaged data - the process takes awhile, so in the duration of a turn it would barely recover much compared to simply using a Recovery Small chip. He can charge instead to recover an ally from a single status effect or to return a single panel to normal status.

Frostguard: Frostclaw is capable of shielding himself with an icy shield, that allows him to absorb water-based attacks from the front. Being hit with an electric-based attack will break the shield and he will be paralyzed.

Skills or Abilities:
Accession
Frostclaw is capable of spreading the effects of support/modifier/defense chips* to other Navis designated as allies. Frostclaw is capable of only using this skill every 3 turns in battle, before using his chip, and cannot use any other skills along with it.

Penury
Frostclaw, being an efficient support Navi is able to cut the time it takes for the next chip he uses to recharge down to two turns. This skill is usable once every 3 turns in battle and is able to be used along with other, non-exclusive skills.

Altruism
In a selfless move, Frostclaw is capable of temporarily donating three chips in his folder to an ally. Upon donating, the chips will become unavailable for Frostclaw to use until they recharge. The temporary chips are instantly usable by the ally, and upon use disappear from the folder. Frostclaw is only capable of doing this once per ally, and usage of this ability takes up a single turn.

Rapture
Frostclaw will increase the duration/uses of his next weapon/defense/modifier/support chip*. This skill is usable before he uses his chip, and is usable once every 3 turns in battle, capable of being used along with other, non-exclusive skills. Doing so will increase the time it takes for the chip to recover after battle to 7 turns instead of 5.

Tranquility
Frostclaw will use his next weapon/defense/modifier/support chip* on a single ally. This skill is capable of being used at any time before he uses his chips and is capable of being used along with other, non-exclusive skills.

* - Certain chips will obviously be incompatible. The skills will only work on Standard chips, for one, and Rapture will only increase duration of chips up to double its amount but not exceeding 5 (i.e. Invisible will last 5 instead of 6), and use-based chips will have increased uses by an extra 2 uses, up to a max of 7. The only Support-type chips that work with Frostclaw's skills are the Anti- series, Attack Up, and the Recovery series. Accession will not work on Recovery Full.

Extra Form:
ColdPriest: Frostclaw will cover himself in pure, icy armor, creating a cold aura around him. This form lasts for 3 turns and is only usable once per jack-in. During this form, Frostclaw is capable of using any of his skills indefinitely without wait. Panels around him will be coated in ice, his body permeating a wellspring of recovery software. Nearby allies will also slowly recover lost data.

Background: Frostclaw.EXE began as a last-generation prototype programmed by Sugiarto Saharjo, the head of a PET Developer company that specialized in utility and protection softwares. Sugiarto had felt too much emphasis had been placed in using Net Navi for cyber-defense and conflict, and decided to create what would be a new series of intelligent, naturally protective and supportive Navi to compliment combat-heavy Navi and those that would assist in data clean-up and repair.

Most prototypes had shown great progress, but Frostclaw.EXE, the final-generation prototype was as close to a fully functional, non-failure prone Net Navi. Upon Sugiarto's decision to gift this Navi to his nephew Rauku, he made several modifications to create a final product. Designed in the image of an anthropomorphic, arctic feline specifically for Rauku, the Navi was also given an advanced personality and AI program, and thus was Frostclaw.EXE born.

He bears quite an extensive, overall knowledge of the world, but is capable of learning much more. He does however have very excellent information concerning data protection and repair. He is still new to the real world despite having such data and treats everyday as a new learning experience. "Seeing is believing, and sometimes not-seeing also leads to believing too!" has become a favourite quote of his.

Personality: Frostclaw.EXE and Rauku's personalities go hand-in-hand. Curious, empathetic, full of spirit and drive for adventure, Frostclaw's major difference is that he's much more shy in comparison to Rauku - which is strange considering his role - a potential overlook by Sugiarto. Often not wanting to confront or speak to others, he usually goes about his business with barely a word to others not involved. He is very personable, however and is very friendly - it just takes time to befriend him.

Dreams: Wants to explore the entire net along with Rauku - and one day, just maybe he can explore the real world, too.

Reasons for Dreams: Frostclaw is curious, and has a drive for learning and experiencing things. He wants to expand his horizons and spread his talents where needed to others. He also wants to see the real world, as well, for it would be a whole new world that he - and no other navi, possibly - has ever experienced.

Miscellaneous Information:
Frostclaw...
-Likes to tinker and poke around any data that he comes across.
-Likes to see if he can find lingering chips or zeni or any kind of 'treasure' during his travels.
-Rarely shows aggression, yet neither he nor Rauku knows what triggers certain 'cold' fits that he gets into.

This character has quite a unique set of abilities. The only thing I'm confused about is this statement in Rapture's description:

"Doing so will increase the time it takes for the chip to recover up to 7 turns."

Are you referring to the after-battle recovery time for chips?

Ohh.

Yeah. I'll edit that to clarify but that's exactly what it does.

I was thinking he might be overpowered, but then I figured I could be able to make him very weak in combat to compensate. He'll be able to use chips as normal, but he'll never be as effective as a built for combat Navis.

After some thought, I think he's been balanced enough since he's designed for support. I suppose he's approved on my end.

That's exactly the plan.

He hates fighting, so his best role is support and healing.
