(I'll intro this character later)

Serlon walked contemplatively down the narrow highroad. He hated narrow roads. His blindfold was an obvious enough sign that he was blind, and that people should watch their step when they walk near him so that no one bumps into anyone else. However, some people lack even that common sense. The narrow roads only increased the chances of his running into someone he didnt' want to. They had the bad habit of ending up dead at his feet anyways...

Serlon scowled to himself. There was someone on the roads with him, someone tall, judging by the sound of the footsteps. It was slightly uneven, and inconsistent. Serlon sighed. Just what he needed...someone tall, drunk, and probably really arrogant. Ah, but he shouldn't judge. Maybe this one wouldn't be so arrogant....

Fat chance.

Serlon passed his hands over his swords to make reassure himself that they were where they always stayed.

As Josh was walking down the road with his bottle of Ale he bought at a tavern which he can't remember, he wanders slowly ahead, thinking that is the way where he would find the one he needed to slay in order to return honor and pride to his tribe. He doesn't know where he's going, nor can he see where he's going. He wanders ahead and bumps into a man with blindfold on who has his hand on the hilt of his sword.

Josh drops his bottle of Ale and cries, "Hey!! You're going to pay for that!"*hic*

"I need not pay for your own carelessness," retorted Serlon. He took a step back to give himself some room, and to get away from the scent of ale. Lacking sight, he relied on his other senses, including scent, to evaluate his surroundings, and the thick wave of ale that invaded his nose was disorientating him. "Unless you wish for me to pay in blood? I'd gladly spill yours for free."

Josh, who still has the effect of the ale on him, is a bit sluggish, so the statements that the swordsman made got to his head a few secs later than usual.

"I do what I wannnntt, and you'll pay for it! With YOUR blooooood, because...erm..you spilled my ale!", Josh yells back, along with his strong breath of full of alcohol and ale taste.

Josh slowly and unsteadly takes out his sword. Even though he can fight extremely well in combat when he's drunk, it has to be triggered by the person whos fighting him.

"Oh, and nooothing's freeeeeeeeee in this world!!", Josh once again yells and swayingly charges at the blind swordsman.

Serlon couldn't miss the rush of air that indicated his new acquaintence was attacking him. A pity. Yet another one.

The blind swordsman drew two swords. One was a full length blade, the other just a little shorter and lighter. He crossed them in front, waiting for the other's attack to hit. "Fine, I'll spill your blood for a chance to let my swords taste blood once more," he said quietly.

Josh takes out his fellblade and cries, "For the FALLEN of Clan of the DEERS!!!!!"

But Josh stops dead right before reaching the blindfolded swordsman.

"You should land the first blow, just because you seem so small and fatigue."

He stops the tip of the blade to the ground and the blade sinks in a full 2 inches before showing any signs of stopping. He leans on his blade and waits for his adversary to cut/slice/stab/etc. him before he fights back.

"Now this is truely free. I'm letting you land the first blow. You don't get this kind of treatment everyday you know?"

"Wh--a" Serlon was confused. "I am not small and fatigued," returned Serlon after he got over himself. "And if you don't feel like attacking me, then kindly be on your way. I've retired these swords years ago from needless killing, and I only use them now to defend myself. Since you will not assault me, I shall be on my way." Serlon sheathed his swords and started to walk again. The sound of breathing alerted him as to where the barbarian was, so he made himself walk a little to the left.

Josh sees the swordsman sheath his blade and purposely tries to avoid him, but instead of just letting him pass by, he steps in his way again.
"The least you can do is apologize for what you have caused me today."Said Josh,"and you don't seem so bad after all..that is..if you don't apologize, and seeing how it is that you sheathed your blade..I might as well put mine away as well.." Josh slowly sheaths his blade, ready to take it back out anytime should there be anything that would happen to him.

If Serlon weren't wearing the blindfold, he'd glare at the barbarian. "Get out of my way," he snarled, trying to walk to the right this time. "I have no need to apologize to you. Even if it was entirely my fault, I'd never think someone who asked for an apology so quickly as you should deserve it. The man was tall. He could feel the shadow and the heat. Calculating his information, Serlon came to the conclusion that he was probably around one foot shorter than this barbarian. Damn...longer reach.

(Ok, I'll go write his intro now...)

Josh stares at the blindfolded man.

"You have no sense of honor do you? If you wrong something, the best way to right something is to apologize. Even an infant knows that! But you...you don't even know when you have to apologize to make something right! You..disgust me, human. I now know why I have left my home for this."

With this, Josh slowly turns to his side to let the swordsman leave if he wishes.
