a reboot? restart? resurrection?, no, not zombie Lum, Living Lum

I was thinking about this site the other day, and truth be told I miss it. I looked over some of the stuff we had before and while it does seem somewhat fragmented and little bit random - what with the sudden name changes, deaths, creation of new characters, sudden deaths of brand new characters, and lost characters that haven't been seen since the old lum - we actually had a pretty good thing going here.

and I have to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I remember writing the basis for what's happening in there.

anyways, enough gushing from me, what I wanted to propose is a reboot, or a restart, of the Lum story. Either by first making a general plan or at least direction, a understandable limit on major characters, a little tweaking of the plot, or even going with the groundwork laid by that story on fictionpress, I think that we can actually make this thing work again and hopefully have a lot of fun doing it.

I realize that we are all several years older now lol, and we do have certain, obligations (I myself happen to be happily engaged. Yes yes, thank you, thank you lol ) but I think that maybe with patience and perseverance we can make something... rather wonderful.

Hello there. I was checking my email today when a familiar name popped up from fictionpress.com. Amazing. I was shocked to see it was for BASIC, which is I guess, an extension to Lumimaria. Funny thing is, it is currently being turned into a radioplay on the VAA.

As for restarting Lum, I think to rp like how we used to would be a little bit strenuous on all our schedules. But we could totally use this place to just chat or lobby concepts and scenarios back forth, light, fun stuff.

voice test for paideia...which is a "fanbase" story of Lumimaria...

(fanbased because the main characters are litle kids....you think? Unfortunately, I can only guess their personalities by what I know. The story focuses on the upbringing of four children (you can guess which 4), who are being trained to become soldiers, with the idea that they will one day protect the “common people”. However, the training process is in many ways is a molding of character by the adults and the children slowly adapt into the type of person they are being raised to be. As time goes by, the children’s innocence wash away only to be replaced with the harsh cold truth of reality.)
