Not-So-New Beginnings..

Shinosuke smirked as he heard the conversation between Leorain and Naomi but his expression quickly changed into seriousness and a blank exterior. Calmly, he did a check with his magical powers to make sure the door wasn't broken. Shinosuke sat on the bed for a moment, reflecting...and once again thinking about his sister...

Flashback (to Shinosuke's childhood):

Natsumi (tugs on Shinosuke's shirt): nee!! Shino-niichan! come play with me!!

Shinosuke (pats Natsumi on the head): sorry imouto, i have to study for something really important, but if you'd like you can play in my study room where i'll be.

Natsumi (pouts and follows Shinosuke to his study room): you always have to study Shino-niichan! it's no fun, you never have time to play with me...

Shinosuke: I'm sorry Nat. How about we go out for ice cream later after i'm done studying? (Shinosuke turns around, picks up and carries Natsumi the rest of the way to the study room)

Natsumi: Yay! ice cream! you better hurry and study then! i want lots and lots of ice cream Shino-niichan!!

End Flashback

"Damn it. I'll find you soon Natsumi..." Shinosuke thought.

(don't ask me how Kira gets into the room after Shinosuke w/o his noticing.. i don't know either.. i just write.)

A young woman who looked like she was in her early twenties stepped out into the doorway of Shinosuke's bathroom. She was slim fit and had wore a black halter top with a leather jacket over it and tight fit black jeans. (o.O funny visual eh?) For a minute, she just stood in the doorway allowing Shinosuke reminisce his childhood memory. Shinosuke was well even though there must of been some tough times throughout his journey so far. The young woman stood in the door way smiling and admiring at the person whom she loved so much. Granted... Shinosuke had a tough past but she knew it would change soon.

A few minutes past and the young woman decided that it was time to make her presence known to Shinosuke.

Still standing in the doorway, she softly called his name.

"Shinosuke..."
(btw.. the bathroom door is behind and to the right of shino's bed so he can't see the doorway)

Shinosuke sat up immediately and his back stiffened.

The young woman smiled and thought "Still paranoid as usual huh Shinosuke?..."

"Kira... that can't be. She's at home where she's safe... I guess i'm even more psychotic now..." Shinosuke thought aloud as he rubbed his eyes.

Smiling, Kira walked up to the bed, still behind Shinosuke and ran her hand though Shinosuke's hair and said, "Shinosuke... you're not imagining things... i'm really here."

Shinosuke's body stiffened for a few seconds more and then relaxed. She was really here, and he wasn't hearing things. Shinosuke stood and turned to face her.

Smiling, Shinosuke gave her a long hug. "She's still as beautiful as the day i left for the journey..."

Shinosuke soon pulled away and asked, "What are you doing here Kira?"

"I missed you too much and i decided to stalk you along your journey. i can't believe all the fun i've missed out on!" Kira replied jokingly.

"...Kira. i'm serious. you can get seriously hurt if you come with me." Shinosuke replied seriously.

"I just needed to get away from home for awhile, just not getting along with my parents right now so i just left. I told them not to look for me and that'll i'll be fine." Kira had said not meeting Shinosuke's gaze.

That suprised Shinosuke, Kira got along with her parents and siblings really well most of the time on most things but he didn't pursue the topic. She would tell him later when she was ready.

Shinosuke gave Kira a quick hug.

"Whats the next step to your plan?" Kira asked.

"I was thinking about checking the temple Leorain mentioned about... want to come with?" Shinosuke replied.

"sure!"

And they left for the temple...

(ooc: aww...cute romantics. we've got...how many in the forum...1,2...i lost count. Who knows their alphabets?... I mean their numbers.)
