this kiddo here has blows out
seventeen candles on
july 8th. she is a
junior at Liberty High and the people there call her
noelle. this girl here is
straight. she likes to spend time with the other
preps. Overall Appearance: Noelle has relatively long wavy hair that is naturally blonde. She’s average height, standing at five six. She weighs about 120 pounds. She has her ears pierced but that’s all, and as of yet is tattoo free…but she’s a curious soul, so you never know.
Noelle has a fairly unique style. She doesn’t like wearing the color black, and almost all of her clothes are very bright, making her stand out. She doesn’t really care much about brand names as long as she looks good, so her clothes come from a wide range of places. Noelle can pull off anything from t-shirts to ball gowns, so you’ll see her in a huge mix of clothing.
Personality: Noelle’s one of the few preps who tries to be as nice as possible. With her fickle personality comes fierce loyalty, particularly to family and close friends. However, she’s also a tad over sensitive and very stubborn, which isn’t the greatest combination. She uses cruelty as a defense mechanism when someone hurts her, so if you do anything to upset her, she’ll either ignore you or you’ll become her target. Noelle also has an uncanny ability to lie, and hide her emotions, though not around people who know her too well.
She’s got a quick wit most of the time and makes her conversations interesting. Sometimes her thoughts move a little too fast though, and she tends to get ahead of herself. Plus, she’s the type of person with an active enough imagination she can be sure she had a conversation with someone that didn’t actually happen. Even if, deep down, she cares a lot about others, on the outside her first goal is the betterment of herself. She’s in love with status and slightly narcissistic.
History: Noelle Juliet Owens and her four minutes younger sister were born in the middle of a hot summer’s day, and were nearly inseparable for years afterwards. They were raised together, too, the only children of Susan and Malcolm Owens.
In the beginning, the two were best friends. They had complimentary personalities, and fought very rarely. Their parents encouraged the two to be friends from an early age, and loved that their daughters were close. They went on a lot of trips as children, but never too far away, and that’s where Noelle developed her love for travel and the outdoors.
As the twins grew older, she became the sort of favorite. Noelle was more accomplished, praised more often; her sister was scrutinized closely and compared to her. Despite this, they remained close, never truly noticing the differences in how they were treated.
Elementary school came and went, Noelle developing her bouncy if slightly manipulative personality, and her love for the outdoors grew too. She couldn’t stand being inside for more than a few hours as a child, and easily grew restless and bored. Noelle spent most of her free time wandering around having adventures with her sister.
Then, something unexpected happened: high school. When their parents announced that they’d be spending the long awaited four years on a boat, the twins were both thrilled. However, their expectations for Liberty and the reality of the experience ended up being very different.
While the school itself was very close to what Noelle had imagined, the way her relationship with her sister had developed was definitely not. The school seemed to bring out the extremes in Noelle’s personality, both best and worst. She was brighter here, and sharper, but also meaner. She assimilated into the school quickly, gaining popularity and status.
Her sister didn’t. As Noelle accomplished more and because more involved in Liberty’s clique of preps, they drifted apart. While Noelle was racing up the social ladder on the SS Liberty, her twin was kicked down to the bottom and became an outcast.
Desperate to protect her newly found status, Noelle treated her sister vilely, despite how much she loved her. Her sibling grew bitter and they have a strained relationship, full of rivalry and hatred. Somewhere deep down though, Noelle knows she’s just hiding, and that she really cares for her sister more than almost anyone else.
When she finishes high school, Noelle wants to be an investigative journalist. She’s already been all around the world at school, and loved it, plus she’s got a knack for writing.

Behind the Character
What's your name? raina
What are some things you like/dislike? I love reading/writing/rping (which I just started doing recently), particularly short stories/poetry, Twilight, and a million other things. I listen to music constantly and love Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie, and Rilo Kiley (among other things). I love English and Math but can’t stand Science or History. Je déteste my terrible computer and cold weather.
Other Characters? None here!
Years of experience? My failing…less than one! But hey, you’ve got to start somewhere, right?
