OVERALL PERSONALITY // Anna lives life to its fullest potential, and she’s a very bright and colorful person. She talks almost constantly, and she’s absolutely determined to make a difference in the world. She tends to dive into things too fast and too eagerly, and she gets very wrapped up in whatever she does. She’s a very romantic person, and falls in love more often than she probably should…which may be why it generally doesn’t last. Let’s just say she tends to fall for the wrong sort of guys.

Anna’s generally a very sweet person, unless you’re lazy or completely unambitious. She pushes her students (or at least, she considers them her students) very hard and thinks everyone should have at least some aspirations. She’s got absolutely no tolerance, however, for one thing: and that’s stupidity. She can be very unforgiving and sometimes she’s unwilling to admit to her own mistakes. She’s got a fiery temper too, but few things make her angry. Anna almost always has the best intentions, and she can’t bring herself to do anything truly cruel or mean.

Anna’s more aware than most people that she won’t be alive for very long, and she loves trying new things. She gets bored easily and quickly, but also has her little comfort things that she likes to return to every once in a while. She’s not afraid to do something she’s never done before, but that doesn’t mean she likes everything she tries. She’s not a fan of gossip but ends up letting herself get caught up in it more than she probably should.

HISTORY //
Annabelle was born into a relatively wealthy and successful family on a rainy spring day some twenty one years ago. At first, things were happy. Her father was a prominent congressman from California and, while she didn’t see him often, loved her and her sister dearly. Her mother was a stay at home mom, who spent all her time taking care of her beautiful baby daughters.

Of course, things change. For the Williams family, things got a lot worse…very fast. When Sloane and her sister were three years old, Parker was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. With all of Susanna’s attention now focused on her younger twin, Anna was often sent to day cares and otherwise left to her own devices—an experience that caused her to develop a fierce independence. As they grew older, however, not even the disease kept the girls apart. They became the best of friends, and things were looking up for many years after the diagnosis. Parker had her ups and downs, but things were good. They returned to normal.

When the girls were thirteen, Parker took a turn for the worse…and never recovered. She died three days before her fourteenth birthday, and her family was crushed. Anna’s parents found that they could hardly look at their daughter anymore, and instead found solace in tending to their three month old son, Evan. Once again, Anna was left to tend to herself. She made it through school without too much trouble…but found the most comfort in talking to her friends and the counselors at school. That’s what inspired her to take on the profession she did. Most people in her high school looked at her only as ‘the dead girl’s sister’ and Anna was always dying to escape that little community and the critical eyes of her parents. While they didn’t dare spend any time with their daughter or praise her at all, they had no trouble setting impossible goals and holding ridiculous expectations. What was worse, her parents seemed to have no reservations about referring to their deceased daughter. Anna had never fully recovered from Parker’s death, and nothing hurt her more than when her dad said something like ‘Parker would never have done anything like that’ or ‘I’m sure Parker would have done much better’. Anna actually did quite well in school, graduating ninth out of her class of 500.

Though Evan was nearly fourteen years younger than Anna, he ended up being the person who understood her best out of all her family. When she wanted to be emancipated at sixteen, her toddling brother was the only reason she stayed…other than the fact that she wanted to go to college and knew she’d never be able to pay for it on her own. When she finally finished high school, Anna wanted to get far away from the place she’d grown up, and ended up majoring in psychology at Yale.

She graduated last year and this is her first year at Liberty, where she decided to work as a guidance counselor.
