Overall Appearance: Mika is a very pretty girl. People seem to be attracted to her because of her blend of exotic Japanese features she got from her mother and the European features of her Russian father. She has naturally dark hair but she likes to change the colors a lot. Sometimes it's blond, sometimes black, sometimes a reddish brown, whatever catches Mika's fancy.
Her eyes are elegantly almond shaped, but not in the extreme. It's enough to give her an exotic appeal that other girls don't have. She loves this about herself. Her lips are a perfectly defined bow and arrow shape. She lives to keep them glossed. Her skin is a smooth, creamy complexion, fair like most mainland Japanese. In Japan the fairer your skin the more beautiful it is considered so she finds this a point of pride.
Her body, though short, is lean and lithe. She has a very delicate bone structure, giving her the appearance of grace. She can actually be clumsy though. She has some curvature, but not a whole lot. It's enough to keep the boys interested though. For being half Asian she has rather long legs. She's got a small tattoo of the Japanese kanji for her grandmother's name, Mikiko, whom Mika is named after, on her left shoulder blade.
Personality: Artistic;
Passionate about all things artistic, Mika chooses to express her artistic tendencies through music, the occasional drawing, and her own personal style. She is a talented and accomplished musician. Good at piano and guitar, she loves to compose pieces of music that fit her tastes. She is also proficient with taiko drums, koto, shamisen, bass, and violin. She is most proud of her singing however, and fronted a fairly well known band in Tokyo prior to moving to New York.
Her drawings tend to be expressive and colorful, showing an eye for color matching, which she uses in her make-up art. She loves to experiment with bold colors, on paper, on her hair, and with her make-up and though they may be bright, they never look bad.

In all that she does, Mika is 100% devoted. Be it a lover, a new instrument, a D.I.Y. piece of clothing or a new song. She puts all she has into whatever outlet she’s currently involved with. It’s a quality that seems to attract people to her like a magnet. She sees it as standard, having grown up in Japan with so many driven and equally dedicated people. To her it’s just the way one ought to behave.
Real;
Growing up in Tokyo, Japan gave Mika a sense of propriety that America lacks in general. Though people speak with carefully veiled feelings in Japan, they are taught to be genuine. In America Mika has found that the sugar coating and glossing over of controversial subjects is far less common and has grown to love the ability to openly express opinions. Though she has retained much of her politeness, she makes no great attempt to hide her thoughts. She loves getting in discussions about all manner of things, from foreign affairs to the hottest new band. She doesn’t pretend to be anyone she isn’t, putting her all out there on the line and enjoying the outcomes.
History: Mika grew up a privileged child. He parents had more than enough money to provide her with whatever she pleased and let her run wild for the most part, putting few restrictions on her naturally adventurous spirit. Her father worked as a liaison between Japanese and American companies seeking to expand into new arenas. Her mother was the daughter of a high ranking government official, so money came from both sides of the family. Tokyo provided a world of high fashion and decadence as well as the Japanese morality, and as she grew, Mika learned to embrace both sides of the city with equal abandon.
A curious and lovely child, Mika was well loved at school. She went to the best preparatory academies money could buy. Her teachers found her a willing and intelligent learner. She was a social butterfly, making friends with most of the children and enemies of very few. She was a popular and mostly kind child, well liked by her classmates. She always received high marks in classes and starring roles in recitals. School was easy for her, and all through grade school she was an exemplary student.
Mika learned from her mother, who came from a once royal line, to have a love of all things aesthetically pleasing, but she also appreciates intelligence. In middle school a friend took her to see a rock concert, and she fells in love with it. She found the intensity, drive, and passion of the performance alluring, and eventually began singing herself, when she was only 14. The band became fairly well known in Tokyo, earning itself a medium sized fan following who loved to dote on them and give them gifts.
When she was 16 her father took a job offer with one of the Japanese companies he’d helped expand into the American market. They wanted him to become CEO of the American branch and so they moved to New York City. There Mika was enrolled in Liberty and had to make all new friends halfway though her junior year. She quickly became as popular as she had been back home in Tokyo, thanks to the edge of being exotic and new. Now, in senior year, she wants more than anything to find a new band and sing again, attend some awesome parties, and have the best year of her life in this crazy city called New York.
