Buuuttttt since we don't want to yell at you just as much as you don't want to be yelled at, we need to have them. ONE. This is the golden rule of the site, respect. Please respect the admins and don't argue with them. If we're wrong about something, kindly point it out to us - if you use an attitude, we'll use one back, and fighting is never in anyone's benefit. On the other hand, don't be afraid to come to us with questions, comments, concerns, or ideas. That's what we're here for! Respect your fellow roleplayers too, we're all here to have fun! TWO. Part of the fun in roleplaying is creating characters. But don't go overboard and make ten charries when you aren't going to roleplay with all of them. But of course, you can have as many character as you want, but they ALL MUST BE ACTIVE. No creating one, using it twice, and then referring to it for a month and a half without actually using it. It's confusing. And at least try to have an equal amount of guys and girls so the ratio won't be overbalanced or something. Lastly, remember to post in the monthly activity check. If you fail to do so, an admin will simply delete your account. THREE. Only one character per account. It makes things easier that way - we don't have to go figure out who's on what character at what time or whether or not you're using all of the one on that account. It's way lame. Also, we understand that after creating an account you can't change your username. Just PM an admin with the new name you'd like and we'll do it for you. FOUR. We know that no app sites are popular these days, but we're not one of them! Please fill out the application form given, we totally love you for it. Also, make sure that you fill out each section of it - we don't want you to skip over the history. You don't have to do it all at once, but if you don't want us to look at it yet, post "(NF)" in the title. and oh, where it says 'have you read the rules?' put 'aye aye captain'. Be original and make your application as interesting as possible, the admins always love to be surprised with a good character history or personality. But of course, remember that this is a high school on a cruise ship rp, and living expenses onboard will be pretty high, so your character has to have a certain monetary value or at least a scholarship. FIVE. Before creating your character, remember to check the face claim and canon list so you won't choose a celeb that's been taken. Reservations would help as well, to avoid any problems with other roleplayers that might want to use the same celeb for their character. After an admin accepts your character, make sure that claiming your pb is the first thing you do! Your face claim must be a celebrity, no anime drawings or whatever. Be realistic, people, I can't have Blake Lively kissing Ichigo from Bleach! Also, no two characters can have the same face claim, unless they're twins. SIX. A minimum of 200 words is required for each post. We won't chew you out for having 180, but please make an effort to keep from doing it on regular basis. Be creative with your posts as well, describe your surroundings, your character's feeling and such, give something your fellow roleplayers can use. Remember, roleplaying is a two way thing, how can you expect people to give if you don't do the same? SEVEN. Absolutely NO god-modding or powerplaying. Icky, icky, ick! This is unacceptable and you will be warned if we catch you or someone complains. If you don't know what these are or would like to make sure that you're not doing it, PM one of the admin! We'll help you out and teach you the difference. So, don't go killing someone else's character unless you've already arranged with the owner of that character to do so. It would be incredibly frustrating for both you, the character's owner, and us if we had a big spat over who did or didn't die and why. EIGHT. This forum is rated R. Yes, that means that there will be drugs, sex, violence, etc. You have been warned. However, if you're going to go into description, put "®" in your topic title - some people don't want to read that kind of stuff, and we have to respect their wishes. NINE. Pregnancy does tend to be popular with these types of RPs. That's all right, but we don't want everyone pregnant at once. Please PM us if you want to start a plot with it, but don't worry, we'll usually agree unless there's an uproar. if that happens, then we'll have to put up a ban. but wait, the real password is 'we're on a cruise ship, baby!'. While we're on that note, a timespan of 2-4 weeks is required for that. You don't just get pregnant and have a baby over night. TEN. This is not a supernatural RP. That's right; no healing, no powers, no bringing people back from the dead. Miracles can happen; inhuman cannot. And though it's a high school on a cruise ship rp, not everybody can fall overboard. Come on people, what does that say about the ship's security? If you're thinking of big plot you want to play out, one that might affect a lot of people on the ship, it would be best if you PMed one of the admins first. Usually we'll just say yes, because you know how we love drama. ELEVEN. If you're grounded or going away for a while or something, please post it in the 'Absence' board. We don't want to delete you only to find out that you were sick or something, missed the activity check and hadn't actually left... This is really important, guys! TWELVE. And lastly... HAVE FUN! That's what this place is for! IC RULES While aboard the SS Liberty, there are a few rules that students are required to follow. ONE. Please refrain from leaning too far over the railings to prevent falling overboard. TWO. All students are required to attend classes. Failing to due so will result in loss of priviledges and may lead to expulsion. THREE. There is a curfew to follow. Students are not to leave their dorms after 10 30 pm. The only exception is when one needs to use the lavatories. FOUR. Dorms are not co-ed. There is to be no member of the opposite sex in one's dorm. FIVE. There will be no tolerance for those who choose to consume contraband substances. SIX. There is to be no horseplay on the decks on the ship. If there are any questions regarding these rules, please forward them to your captain. but who follows the rules anyways?
