Ren and Dorimon started walking east from the tree that his clothes had fallen into. Ren was still rubbing his bum from falling out of the tree and Dorimon was still laughing at how ‘his Ren’ had gotten hurt so easily. It was quite unsettling for him, he just couldn’t wrap his head around it all. First he was waking up and getting sucked into his computer, then he was waking up in the middle of a forest with a little creature that claims to own him. As they walked Ren looked over the strange device that appeared in his room when he was sucked in. He turned it over in his hand thrice, not finding a place for the power source. What kind of battery did this thing have? “OOF!”
“Ha haha!” Dorimon laughed as Ren faceplanted into a tree. “My Ren’s so funny!”
“Ugh…” Ren rubbed his nose; which thankfully wasn’t bleeding. Reno noticed that the twilight was growing dimmer and knew they needed to sleep soon, and even eat if they could. He looked around and noticed a small pile of rocks, running over to it he started piling them up to make walls, then gathered the largest leaves and sticks he could find to forge a roof.
“What’s my Ren doing playing around without me!?” Dorimon asked after the shelter was done and made, there was enough that he had made it quite big, it would easily fit two of him and three Dorimon.
“I made a place for you us to sleep, aren’t you getting tired yet?” he asked the little beast. Dorimon shook his head vigorously, Ren figured it would be easier to get Dorimon sleepy by feeding him, everyone gets tired when their full. He walked around and looked for firewood and anything edible, finding a few mushrooms and more branches for a fire; nothing really substantial. They might not be able to eat well but they’ll at least eat something after walking for so long, and building the hut that seemed more like a glorified lean-to.
After digging a ditch for the fire and toasting the ‘shrooms Ren gave half to Dorimon to eat and started on his own. They ate some, but not all the mushrooms and left the fire going as they laid down.
