Digivice appearance: The D-Pendulum Erik once had has regressed into a longer version of a D-Arc; it features a slimmer top and a more rectangular bottom. It lost several of the unique function and all of the previously obtained data and powers it once held. It still has a card reader on both sides and features a white and black color scheme but no longer reads a situation for Erik. A silver chain link crowns the top to let the item be linked onto a loop or what not.
Physical Appearance: Erik is a mildly tall and well healthy male. He stands a 5'11” and weighs 150lbs. He works out regularly and his physically active; rating at a pro-athlete's level of ability. He has three inch long midnight hair that, when not suffering from hat hair, is spiked forward. He has bright brown eyes, thin eyebrows, and a slightly round face that makes him look slightly younger. When not in his chef clothes he dresses very casual and lazily. Rough, faded, and often torn, jeans and a wrinkled shirt pulled from the mess of his drawers. His boots, on the other hand, are top brand for survivalists. They're all but bullet proof and slightly worn from their constant use.

Personality: Erik primary mental feature is a desire to live. He has uncanny survival instincts and a powerful drive to over come struggle. Through these instincts, he developed a sharp learning mind, even if he doesn't retain it all afterwards. He has a powerful will and a carefree attitude. He's able to accept what's in front of him and not care about the little questions.
His past has little effect on him, if only just being the reason why he can't sit still. He never gives much thought to what his lost memories are or whether or not he has family somewhere. He's the type of person that lives in the now.

Background History: After his last adventure in the digital world more than 6 years ago, Erik lost all of his memories before hand. Zhuqiaomon left him on the steps of a Catholic orphanage in New York, where he was raised until 16. He ran away from the home, for no reason other than boredom, and began his own life in Philadelphia. On his own, he found it very natural to care for himself. Though he found several activities, camping, cooking, rock climbing, and martial arts, that kept him entertained, Erik always harbored the feeling that he just wasn't doing what he thought he was capable of.

His drive and aspirations to conquer led him to climb through ranks in everything he did. His sharp mind and survival instinct didn't hurt either. After only a few months of work at the Hilton Hotel near his apartment he was crowned as one of four Saucier, under only two Sous chefs and the Head Chef. He's a student at the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a full scholarship from the ACF; where he's a personal friend of Mario Leonard (head of the regional team of his area).
