The Grand Ballroom
Furnished for the occasion, the ballroom of the Luther Mansion is large enough for several hundred people if need be. Equipped with circling waiters and an open bar, this ballroom has everything that can possibly be desired. Keep in mind, any guests of the Mansion, that there will not be an open mic so you can sing drunken karaoke. This is a respectable occasion and should be treated as such.

The Tables
The tables, set with expensive silverware and stunning centerpieces, circle the dancefloor in a well-organized and easily navigated pattern. These tables will be largely unattended, though, seeing as most balls are more oriented towards danced. Unless you're a wallflower, you'd better get your tush onto the dancefloor and go down to boogie town. Figuratively speaking, of course. Once again, this is a respectable ball. There will be none of that 'boogie' nonsense.

The Ground Floor
The rest of the ground floor will be considered off limits to the charity guests, other than the bathrooms, of course. The rest of the ground floor consists of the kitchens and livingrooms of the Luthor mansion, as well as an extensive library, reaching up into the second floor.

The second floor is strictly off limits to the guests of the night's charity ball. This is where the room of the infamous Lex Luthor exists, as well as the guest suits and the upper portion of the library. Inticing, I know, but if you're interested in surviving the night's activities, just stay on the ground floor.

The Outdoors
Being a man of great means, Lex Luthor has put his fortune to good means. The ouside of his mansion is beautifully landscaped, with a man-made lake and a pavillion, both of which can be reached by crossing a exquisitely fringed promenade. The several acres on which his house sits are often frequented by rare and exotic forms of wildlife, as he pays to have it so, and it's said that the view of the stars at night is purely breathtaking.

School Grounds
Impressive though the school itself is, nothing compares to the surrounding grounds and picturesque scenery. Encased in a multitude of floral arrangements, statues and greenery, the Institute grounds contain a large lake, stone courtyard, and swimming pool. It’s also home to the memorial garden; an area that rapidly seems to be growing with the continuing influx of fallen students and staff.

This floor is generally very noisy during student free time. Having a large amount of gifted students in one place at the same time is a recipe for disaster. Make sure you watch out for flying objects if you happen to be in the immediate vicinity.

Meeting Hall
The inner sanctum of the brotherhood, this large Victorian hall is the prime location for meetings, plotting, and general discussion concerning the future of mutant kind. The furnishings are minimal, but the room itself is domineering enough to compensate; making this an important part of the Brotherhood HQ.

Living Quarters
All of the Brotherhood members, including the infamous Magneto, have to sleep sometimes. This is simply a place where that action takes place. The rooms are modestly furnished with the necessities, and in some cases items relevant to the owner's mutations.

Gotham City
Home of the famous Batman, Gotham City is as corrupt as a city could possibly be. It has a similar geography to New York, but it seems that less good shines through in this city. As long as The Joker and The Scarecrow are around, it doesn't seem likely that Batman and Robin will win this one out.

Metropolis
Nicknamed "The Big Apricot", it is said that Metropolis is the most technologically advanced city in the US. It's very busy, more so than either NYC or Gotham, and the streets are less crime-ridden (probobaly having to do with them being patrolled by a certain Superman). It has the best quality of life possible on the East Coast.
