School Grounds
The school grounds of Karazhan High School cover every part of the school that is not connected to a building. Most of the grounds are made of neatly trimmed grass fields with walkways to the buildings between them and a small scattering of benches and tables. Trees suited to the tropics provide shade for the students to rest under in between classes and on weekends.

Main Building
This is the building where most of KHS's classes are held. The building is three floors high and ending in a rooftop, containing a cafeteria, library, auditorium, science lab, technology lab, and several classrooms. Stone steps lead up to a pair of double doors that open into the building. It has two entrances, front and back, with the front entrance leading towards the gate and the back entrance leading towards the gardens and lake. The Main Building is closed after 7PM.

The Gymnasium
KHS's gymnasium is a large building separate from the main building. At first glance, it looks like any other gym, with bleachers and basketball hoops, until the class begins! Then the gym can take on any environment that the teacher desires--and in the case of two teachers--sometimes more than one. The gym can simulate just about anything, making it possible for classes to be put in situations that would be horribly dangerous otherwise. There is also a track right outside the Gymnasium, where the track team practices.

The Dormitory
The third building at KHS is the dormitory. Each dorm room can hold up to two students, and it is alternated between boys and girls by floor. All odd-numbered floors house male students, and all even-numbered floors house female students. After 8PM on weekdays and 9PM on weekends, no student is allowed to be on a floor that is not their own, unless they are on the stairs going to their own floor.

Downtown
This is the main part of Karazhan. Everything you could ever hope to find is here--from restaurants to shopping places to hang-outs to a theme park! The downtown area is crowded during the day, but not too crowded. People can still move around without being suffocated. Basically, if you want it, chances are, it's here.

Karazhan Cemetery
Karazhan Cemetery lies on a sprawling field on the outskirts of town. A wall borders it, with the entrance being an ornate golden gate with decorations of angels on top of it. The cemetery is where all the departed of Karazhan are laid to rest. In the center of the cemetery is a special burial plot for all students who have perished before graduation, with a memorial in the very center of that.

Old Town
Old Town is one of the older and more rundown districts of Karazhan. It's the closest thing the city has to slums. Houses are close together, and garbage litters the streets while graffiti litters the walls. People really shouldn't be out here after dark, as who really knows who or what lies in wait?

Yue Park
In the middle of Karazhan lies Yue Park. The park is a popular hang-out for students and residents alike. It is one of the most peaceful places in the city. Just walking into the park seems to relax people for an unknown reason. The park was designed by the same person who designed the KHS gardens. The park is very beautiful, with a fountain in the center of it. It also comes with a playground for the young and the young at heart to play in.

Business District
Downtown may be Karazhan's most crowded district, but this is where the real work happens. This is the district where most of Karazhan's businesses are located. The Spire, where the President lives, is also located here, along with several other buildings from Atlatur's top-ranking companies.

Residential Area
This is Karazhan's housing district, and most of its citizens live here. The Hogo Family's Kuroikou Dojo is also located in this district.

Fiore Galleria
The Fiore Galleria is the biggest mall in Karazhan. It features many stores that sell top-of-the-line products, an arcade, movie theaters, and an international food court that serves food from all around the world. The mall itself is an architectural wonder, a beautiful white building that seems to befit its name "flower".

Gateport
This building is the only way in or out of the country of Atlatur. Inside it lie the many magical Gates that lead to just about anywhere in the world. The Gates are free of charge to all students and alumni, so long as they have the proper identification. Students must have their IDs scanned before entering a Gate, in order for the school to keep track of where they are. In case your hometown does not have a nearby Gate, travel agents are on standby to arrange for transportation for you.

The Beach
Being on a tropical island, it follows that the city of Karazhan should have a beach, and it does, just outside the fringes of the city. The beach is clean with white sand, sunshine, and sparkling blue waters. The beach also comes equipped with a dock and a rental shack, however, people are warned against going too far out, as going past the magic that protects Atlatur tends to get people completely and totally lost.

Mt. Melusine
On the other side of Karazhan, the side that doesn't face the sea, lies the mountain known as Melusine. The side nearer to the city has mostly gentle slopes and some forest areas, including a river and a waterfall, while the side a little farther off has steeper slopes and more rocky areas. At the top of the mountain, one can see a view of Karazhan and the rest of the island.
