Origins: Helena was born in Camelot and lived there for six years but she spent the rest of her life in Vusatunell near Camelot in the south when Uther banned magic.

`Appearance

General Appearance:Helena is small and slender woman who has kept herself slender due to the constant fleeing she has done in her life. Being of a shortish height has made it easy for Helena to hide from any potential captors.

Her hair is slightly wavy and black and it reaches in between her shoulders. She usually wears it up in a bun or a ponytail. Her dark almost black eyes reflect the struggles she has been through. They have this emotional intensity.

She has a small scar over her heart due to nearly being fatally wounded by an arrow when she was six years old. Her skin is very pale like soft moonlight.

She usually wears black clothing which consists of a knee length dress with a faded hooded cloak during the night so that she isn't spotted by anyone associated with Uther and any destroying of magic and those associated with it. In the day time she wears the same style of clothing but in a dark green. She always wear a black opal necklace that her mother gave her on her fifth birthday.

`Personality

Skills:
#Athletic- She is a very fast runner and can easily climb/leap over fences/walls.
# Mimicry- She can very easily mimic the voices of others. This has aided her in escape.
# Telepathy- She is very strong at telepathy
#Sensing- She is quite strong at sensing
# Herbology (medicine)- She is very adapt at using the right plants for any sort of ailment from cuts to stomach upsets.
# Maternal Instinct- She has a strong maternal instinct and is always there for children of the Druidry.

Weaknesses:
#Literacy- She is by no means "dumb" but due to not having an education besides that of learning the Druid way of life, she finds it very difficult to read.
# Temper/Emotion- She has a very strong temper which can cause trouble. Sometimes her emotions affect her craft.
# Socialbility- Having not associated much with people outside the Druidry, she finds it a bit difficult to socialise or have a connection with those in villages. She definitely finds it very difficult to socialise with residents of Camelot due to what happened to her and her parents.
# Acts before she thinks- This is a sign of her temper. She at times acts without thinking of the consequences.

Personality Overview:
Helena's personality reflects the environment and people that are around her at the time. When she is in an environment that is relaxing to her, she is very calm and likes softly humming to herself the songs her mother would sing to her every night as a child. She is very kind to her fellow Druids and is always helping any newcomers especially children that share her gift.

In environments that she can't stand she is quite the opposite, personality wise. She comes very close to losing her temper to anyone that insults her. She appears almost snobby towards them. She is terribly uncomfortable when she sneaks into Camelot for stock. She loathes Uther for what has happened in the past.

Helena has a strong maternal instinct and has no qualms about tending to any young Druid children who are sick or injured. She is usually the "babysitter" and entertains the children with her impressions and stories. This is her "job" in the clang, looking after and helping children with telepathic gifts harness more control of their gift. Some of the children are interested in medicinal herbology so she goes into the forest with the children to show them which plants are used to cure which ailment. At the full moon, she performs a little test by naming an ailment and getting the children to list the tinctures used to cure said ailment.

Due to losing her parents, she prefers the company of those her age and younger. However, that's not to say that she is uneasy towards those who are older than her. She has a great respect for them as they have helped her to control the powers that have come naturally to her. It is like one big family. She has been a part of the clang since the age of six and hopes to stay in the clang until her last breath.

Medicinal herbology is a strong suit and she has helped to cure many of the Clang of an assortment of ailments. This was taught to her by the Druids from when she turned seven as they saw that she had quite a significant interest in the herbology.

`Magic


Sorcerer/Druid: Druid
Powers:

TELEPATHY. She can hear the thoughts of those who are miles upon miles away. This has its good and bad aspects. On one hand, she can hear those who are like her crying in their minds for help and she can at times help them but sometimes they are so far away that she can't save them in time.

SENSING. This is not as strong as her telepathic power but it is quite a strong power. Being one of the "recruiters" especially that of children with telepathic powers, Helena uses the Sensing power to seek these children out. It is also a safety thing in case enemies who possess magical powers are approaching.


`Family Life

Mother:Rhan
Father: Maddock

History: Helena's parents met in Camelot when her mother Rhan (then 16) was working a now abondoned pub and her father Maddock (then 18) was in town collecting some supplies for a hunting trip. They soon married and Helena was born a few months later on April 20 at sundown. The young family moved to a new cottage in Camelot that was close to the markets. Rhan quit her job at the pub to look after Helena and Maddock would sell his pelts to people for a resonable sum. Maddock and Rhan were very much in love.

Helena at the age of three showed signs of being a Telepathic. Helena and her mother would have conversations telepathetically.

Life was perfect for the family until Uther Pendragon called for a ban on all magic when Helena was six years old. Maddock was not a possessor of magical powers but he died trying to protect his Druid wife and child. Rhan and Helena fled to the village of Vusatunell with just the clothes on their back because Rhan thought it'd be better if they left Camelot. They were just outside of the village when Rhan who had begun to experience the effects of a fever, collapsed and died due to chest problems. Rhan's last words to her daughter was "never forget who you are". Helena ran into the forest and exhausted she sat at the base of a tree, her face wet with tears. She grieved for her deceased parents in her mind and heard approaching footsteps. Her sensing powers had their origin there because she knew that the four men and two women that were approaching were like her and her mother in some way, though she was unsure as to the exact reason so she wasn't fearful of the strangers. One of the Druid women carried a tired Helena to where the Druids were camping. There began the honing of Helena's abilities.

Helena apart from her role at the clang doesn't have a job per se but she does handcraft necklaces which she sells in nearby villages on market day. She likes to seek out and help children with powers using her powers of sensing. She doesn't take them away from their families if the environment they live in is fine (for example the parents are also possessors of magical powers) but if the children are orphans or in danger from their family or other people (such as Uther) then she rescues them.

`The test

Roleplaying example:
The cold wind blew through the trees as Helena walked through the forest near Vusatunell. Her black hood and dress were making her almost invisible in the darkness. She liked to spend time alone in the forest with her thoughts and honing her craft. She carefully sat down on an old log and crossed her arms to her chest shiverng slightly at the cold.

She was sitting quietly looking at the array of stars when she heard a child screaming in her mind. She got up quickly and crept slowly towards the sound, praying to the gods that the child was okay. Her eyes widened in anger as she saw a boy of about five being advanced upon by five men with swords taunting him with the threat of execution since he was seen involuntarily displaying magical powers.

"It will be alright!" Helena told the child, telepathetically as the boy blinked in response.

Helena hid behind the tree a few feet away and mimicked the voice of a noblewoman that she had heard many men talk about. She made it so that the noblewoman was being chased by a vicious animal and as the five men departed into the forest, Helena quickly ran up to the boy and picked him up, his face resting on her shoulder.

She quickly scanned the area for any signs of people and the two of them fled into the forest. Helena and the boy reached the old log where she had been sitting. Smoothing the boy's light brown hair and wrapping him in her cloak, she smiled at him and told him that everything would be better once the two of them went to her clang.

"What is your name?" she whispered.

"Zantonian," he whispered back.

"My name's Helena. Tell me, what can you do that's special?" she replied.

Zantonian told Helena about how he can move objects with his mind and he didn't know he was doing it when those men saw him. She told him that her and her fellow Druids will help him to control his power.
