This is my first post on here....but I just had to say....Congrats to both CMM and Cherokee and I would be proud to call you both friends. You both made valid points....But let me see if I can just make a quick statement that you will both agree with. Obviously, as Christians (Yes, I am a Christian.) we are supposed to try to help others whenever possible. In doing so, it can become quite difficult to not come across as "preachy" or "harsh." All that we can do is try our best to tell others the truth in love and respect. And forgive each other for falling short of perfection in doing so.... After all, we all make mistakes in thought and deed everyday. And that is no different whether or not you are a believer or not. No matter what some people tend to think....
Whether or not someone actually heeds what we say...is up to them....All we can do, is do our best.....
Also, just a quick question for kksoulmate....You wrote that...."Ms. Kreuk doesn't really seem to care much for religion" .....No offense, but I was just wondering....Where did you get this info? One thing that I thought everyone (or almost everyone) on here agreed with was that KK has always been a VERY private person....So wouldn't that include this.....I am not saying whether or not she is religious....I am merely wondering where this came from? Personally, I do not remember ever hearing what religion she was....Please, anyone feel free to enlighten me on this...I honestly don't know....

Thanks, ydnar ! Welcome to the forum ! I asked the same question a while back, but, no one seems to know about KK's religious views. As you are aware, religion isn't very politically correct these days ! Still, we also need to stay on topic. I try to keep my religious views within the context of the discussion of the topic (although, sometimes, I feel I must not let certain ideas be left unchallenged). But, then, everyone here occasionally goes a bit off-topic, There is a section called "Everything Else" for extended discussions. Also, you can PM (Personal Message) people, if you want to discuss things that are somewhat off-topic. Now, how do I tie this in with Kristin's Cosmo quote ? OK..hmmmm, You didn't say what you think of Kristin's statement. What are your thoughts ? PS If you'd like, you can start a topic yourself; " What religion does Kristin believe in ? " or, something like that.

Quote, ( Webmistress ) " But in all likelyhood she was most likely was born into a Christian household because I do recall her talking about spending her Christmas break getting sleep." Does anyone know what her parents believe in ? Now, we're really into a new topic here ! Quote, (Webmistress) "If Kristin was religious we would know about it by now, because everyone who's heavy in their religion talks about it every chance they get." I resemble that remark, Webmistress ! (And I bet you thought I would say, " I resent that remark " ! )

Quote, ("kksoulmate") " Talking about getting naked as liberating and having your boyfriend enjoy it doesn't really scream "Mother Theresa" to me. Also, as CMM says...good Christian boys and girls wait until their married."
Actually, I said that in reference to having sexual relations. I didn't say single Christians never get naked. I know Cherokee Knight and I have both explained that we had more than one experience with girlfriends that we got naked with, but, we didn't go "too far".

I have to agree with you, and thank you friend. Religion is a hard subject to discuss on the internet because there are so many who seem to be insulted by the mere mention of it, especially if you are a Christian. But then a insult of two never hurt anyone now did it. I don't talk to openly about it on the net for that reason. I am a member of a writers group that is made up of people for almost every thing from pagans to Christians, and everything in between. there have almost been outright word fights in more than a few posts, so I tend not to get involved much anymore. As to Kristin, who this post is supposed to be about anyway, I wouldn't have the least idea what her beliefs are, if she indeed has any. We will just have to wait and see what comes out. Being from mixed cultures with totally different religions it could be hard to for her to know what she really wants to believe in. Just my two cents. Cherokee Knight

try to read this ---> http://www.parade.com/celebrity/celebrity-...game-vixen.htmlshe said this, "I wasn't raised with a specific religion. I wasn't raised to judge people in any way. I was lucky enough to grow up with parents who encouraged me to believe what I wanted to believe and to educate myself, and they've been really supportive of the path that I've chosen." but this doesn't mean that she is not a religious person..she just wasn't raised with a specific religion.. we all have different religions but our beliefs are somewhat just the same..we call God in different names but there is only one God.. we are just so proud that we are even fighting our fellowmen because of our different religions.

For some reason, I don't see the regular "Reply" button on this forum. So, I used the "Quote" button. Anyway, Kristin doesn't seem to share the same beliefs as I do. I believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to God. He said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except by me." Someone made a reference to "killing" other people because of religious differences. Jesus taught His followers to love people, even their enemies, so killing them is not part of His teachings!
