The KBCL FFX Challenge, For the hardcore gamers

As some/most of you know, I recently started a new playthrough of Final Fantasy Seven. My goals this summer were to get more active in KBCL, get less active in WoW, and beat Final Fantasy 7/8/10, as well as Kingdom Hearts 1/2. A day ago, Kiddy challenged me to starting a new FF7 playthrough with him to see who would finish first. I declined because I wanted to finish my current playthrough, but that got me thinking.

So basically, I figure like 5 or so KBCLers could start a new Final Fantasy X save at the same time(We can come up with that when we get some volunteers) and see who could finish it first. There will be a few stipulations though:

1.) Get all of the Celestial Weapons (Can't remember if thats what they're called or not but you know what I mean)
2.) Get all of the Summons
3.) Complete the Monster Arena; Defeat Nemesis(Or Penance, can't remember which it is. If this stipulation is too hard, we can take it out, I just thought it'd be fun <_<)
4.) Obviously, defeat the game.

Other side options that you guys could choose from:
1.) Can only use 3(or 1 to make it exciting/challenging) character/s. Your choice.



But yeah, I know a lot of us are in mid-summer and have been insanely bored lately, plus this could be really fun. And if you're wondering, I picked FFX because I figure that everyone here has already played it considering we're on the FFXSB and there's a better chance everyone has a copy of FFX compared to FF7 or something.

Yeah me neither but I doubt anyone here would actually cheat. It's just for fun. We can post here after making an accomplishment.

I've done FF runthroughs with people before, do it on FF7 and I'll run it.

Oh, and since you american people thingies don't have the Dark Aeons and Penance, we'll have this end by the defeat of Nemesis.

Oh, and Benji. If we needed something to prove what we've done, it's useless, and all online gaming boards would be dead >_>. As long as you don't OHKO bosses, we'll believe you XD

I guess we're all going to start a new FFX save and completely finish the game. By "completely", I mean do like all of the side quests, I have them listed in the first post.


I know Sparky has a crazy as hell work schedule so I'll wait for his input on when he can start.

If he doesn't say anything, I'm going sto start it at 12:00 EST tomorrow. That's 5:00 PM for Benji, 7:00 PM for sparky I believe, and no idea what Chainer's time zone is. If it helps, that'll be in 18 hours and 20 minutes from this post.

Every morning sounds good. I assumed we'd just add what we are up to and help each other out of needed or something.
