Mark has the ability to change his form physically. He can change all or just part of his body, for example he can develop a large scale mouth of a cobra to poison someone, or change his fingers into bear claws, or he could spy on others, posing as an alley cat or the family dog.

Weaknesses (and you must have these):

Unlike other shape shifters who project an image into the minds of the people who see them, Mark actually has to change his internal and external structure to what he wants to be. He has to actively visualize each part of the anatomy in order to get it right. This has advantages, such as being able to actually use the offensive and defensive mechanisms of what he turns into, however the process takes a very long time and is slightly painful. Another limitation is the fact that he has to be able to breath when he changes form, so although he could change himself into an inanimate object, he would die before he was able to change back by his own estimation.

History (as brief or as detailed as you like):

Mark was given up to foster care when he was 5. He has no recollection of family, and really doesn't care all that much. He was bounced from home to home, until he landed in the arms of Pinehearst in the form of Meredith Gordon. He was trained to use his abilities by Meredith, and eventually grew to have a type of bond with the woman. Although it was not a family, the mentorship meant more to him that any familial bonds could ever come close to.
When it came time to take his place in the ranks of Pinehearst, Mark was ready. He was the prodigal son of one of the most powerful members, befriended by the head of the company, and in possession of one of the most adaptive abilities known to man.

Personality:

Mark is not a warm and fuzzy person. He is not exactly a sociopath, however he could be mistaken as one by an untrained eye. The difference is that Mark knows the difference between right and wrong, he just chooses the path that suits him best. He has few friends, numbering only those he admires. He values only those who can help him move ahead, everyone else is disposable.
To those who don't know him, he doesn't seem to even have a personality. He does possess a very twisted and dark sense of humor, and is exceedingly intelligent. His personal interests very from classical music to physical activity.

How and when did you discover your abilities?:

Mark is another person who has always been aware of his abilities. He thought that it was normal, until he grew giraffe legs in order to reach the cookies on top of the refrigerator. That's when his biological parents decided that they could no longer look after him and gave him up to be a ward of the state.
