The following is a brief outline of what has happened to the cannon characters. What isn't told in the briefing is left to your imagination and the imaginations of the people who decide to take on these characters.

Claire Bennet - Claire now works for Pinehearst, the company founded by her Grandfather Petrelli. Arthur Petrelli used his powers to help his granddaughter in an unexpected way - using the power that he stole from Daniel Linderman and healed Claire so that she was able to feel again. He could see the potential in his granddaughter and left her powers in tact. He took her under his wing and raised her to be the head of his company.

After the death of Nathan Petrelli, Claire's biological father, Claire declared that she had no intentions of running Pinehearst, forcing Arthur to choose Molly as his successor. Claire continues to work for Pinehearst with her biological mother, Meredith Gordon. Together they are the top agents in the company.

Claire has formed some unsual friendships and bonds in the last thirty years, the foremost being her friendship with Elle Bishop. Elle and Claire work for warring factions but somehow have managed to maintain a close friendship despite this. Claire is also very close to her boss, Molly Walker, who is like a kid sister to her. Recently Claire has reconnected with West Rosen, a childhood sweetheart. West's reluctance to join Pinehearst has left the couple at a stalemate. She is unwilling to quit and he is unwilling to join.

Peter Petrelli - Peter struggled for years to make the world a better place, saving it from viruses and nuclear holocausts. Not to mention the threats of vicious and dangerous evolved humans. With each time, he came closer to a realization, the world would always need saving and he could not always be the one to do it.

With the hunger from the powers that he gained from his brother Gabriel coursing through his veins, and after the tragic death of his brother Nathan, Peter withdrew from society. Finding a small cabin in the woods he has enjoyed a quiet life, visited only infrequently by Gabriel. Peter find the solitude and peacefulness of his life is what he needs to be able to control the hunger raging inside of him.

Gabriel 'Sylar' Gray - Gabriel has spent the last thirty years attempting to make amends for his heinous crimes. After his brother Nathan was murdered, Gabriel and his wife, Elle Bishop took in his two nephews into his home and raised them along with their son, Noah.

In his postion as an agent at Primatech, Gabriel had the unfortunate task of being the first person to arrive at the home of Matt and Daphne Parkman after their grisly murder. The Parkman's daughter Daniella, was alone, and scared in the home, Gabriel went through the appropriate channels and adopted the infant. Adding yet another unfortunate child to his growing family.

After his partner, Noah Bennet retired, Gabriel left Primatech and took a position in Linderman Industries helping to understand the course evolution took that affected so many people. He has dedicated much of his time in trying to help those who have a difficult time adjusting to their powers.


Nathan Petrelli - After his wife Heidi finally succumb to a long battle with cancer, Nathan took his sons, Monty and Simon into his home and worked hard at being the type of parent that he never had. The boys thrived under their father's care.

Nathan Petrelli continued to rise through the political ranks with an amazing speed. Unbeknownst to him, his father Arthur was pulling many strings to maneuver Nathan political success. His hopes was to have his son in a key position of power within the government to aid Pinehearst. Nathan refused his father on several occasions. After Nathan was sworn in as President of the USA, Arthur made one final request. Nathan again refused to be associated with Pinehearst. Arthur personally oversaw the execution of his own child.

Hiro Nakamura - Hiro spent the vast majority of his life being the true hero that he had always strived for. He and Ando worked tirelessly at saving and helping as many as they could. After Ando finally acquired his power the duo became almost unstoppable.

After years of being the hero, Hiro decided that it was time to pass the torch onto the future generation of 'heroes'. Never fully retiring, Hiro turned his attentions instead to teaching and guiding others on how to control and use their powers.

Eventually Hiro went back in time to find the one woman that he ever really loved, Charlie Andrews. Using his powers of time and space manipulation, he brought Charlie to the future to find the cure that was needed for her inoperable brain tumor. After arriving back in the present, the young couple married and lived happily in Tokyo. They had one daughter, who they named after Hiro's sister, Kimiko.

Ando Masahashi After years of helping Hiro saving the world, Ando decided that to truly make a difference he wanted a power as well. Turning to his wife Tracy's nephew, Micah Sanders, Ando was injected and got a new ability. Ando was able to change his skin to metal. He had a difficult time adjusting to life with his new power but Hiro's help, he adapted and fought tirelessly to make the world a better place.

Together Ando and Hiro decided that it was time to retire. Ando and Tracy took the opportunity to start life anew. They disappeared one night and have not been heard from since.

Angela Petrelli Angela had never been more proud of her children as she had been the day Nathan had won the presidential election. Late the night after Nathan was sworn in, Angela had a vision. A deadly vision. She watched as her ex husband, Arthur stepped into her son's office and try to persuade him one more time to help Pinehearst. Nathan stood his ground and refused. Arthur grabbed the silver letter opener off of Nathan's desk and stabbed his son in the throat. Nathan died a slow agonizing death. After Nathan's last breath, Arthur stood up and did something that had never happened in one of her visions. He turned to look at Angela.

Her body was found the next morning. Her cause of death was listed as a stroke.
