The Troublemaking Scot

[Molly Walker]

Molly smirked as she listened to her voice mail. The Haitian did not sound too impressed with Mark's actions. She made a mental note to give him a raise. Hamish O'Hanaghan would soon be welcomed to the Pinehearst family with open arms thanks to Mark Ellis's hard work.

She dialed Mark's cell number, she quickly told him to bring Hamish directly to her office. She and the Scot needed to have a little chat before she welcomed him to the fold.

She sat behind the large glass and steel desk and pulled out his file. She'd already read it several times, but it never hurt to be well prepared.

Mark ushered Hamish through the gleaming marble hallways of the Pinehearst upper offices, reserved for Molly and the executives of the company. At the end of the hallway stood a set of imposing, dark walnut doors that stood in stark contrast to the frosted glass of the other offices.

"Right this way, friend." Mark said as he opened the door to Molly Walker's office and gestured for the other man to enter.

He followed Hamish in and stood directly behind him, arms crossed and a self satisfied smirk on his face. He knew he had done well.

"Ms. Walker, may I introduce Hamish O'Hanaghan?" Mark said in his most professional tone.

"Wow, hot and powerful. I think I made the right choice." He said, elbowing Mark playfully.

He moved closer to Molly and put out a hallucination of himself, just a little more cut and defined. He smiled as broadly as he could and put out his hand to greet his new boss directly.

"Thank you for this wonderful opportunity, and may I say how much more radiant you are in person." he tried to flatter her.

Molly stood up as the men entered her office. She ignored the imagery that O'Hanaghan put forth. She may not have the ability to suppress his power but she could see through his obvious efforts. She crossed the room with a smile and took Mark's hand in a firm handshake, ignoring Hamish all together.

"Another job well done, Mark." She smiled at him before turning to the Scot. "Good evening Mr O'Hanaghan, welcome to Pinehearst. Before we begin, I'd first like to say that your talent is quite remarkable but I have always been able to see through bullshit." She grinned. "Please have a seat, and lets talk." She gestured to a soft leather chair in front of her desk as she stepped around behind it to sit in her own.

"You've been a busy man, Mr. O'Hanaghan." She started blithely. "Primatech had you on their radars for many months now. Problems in .. let's see." She shuffled a few papers and pulled out one that she had been looking for. "Sao Paulo, Moscow, Sydney and Madrid. And there are outstanding warrants for your arrest issued in Toronto, Paris and Egypt." Molly handed him the paper to look at.

"It appears to me that your burning a few bridges along the way. It was only a matter of time before they caught up with you." She smiled warmly. "Pineheast can make that all go away. For a price."

Hamish was caught off guard by the abrupt treatment he was receiving from Molly Walker. She had ignored everything he said, and just got right down to business. The woman knew what she wanted, and that was very sexy.

"Ms. Walker, I apologize for my behavior. I guess my judgment was clouded in your presence." He said with a wink.

"As far as your most generous offer, I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but what is the price I have to pay, my dear?"

Molly grinned at the Scotsman, "No need for apologies, Hamish. Let's just agree that you are a man of exquisite tastes and leave it at that."

"As for what price you'd have to pay for our assistance in your extensive legal woes, not to mention those you have with the Primatech Corporation, all we ask is that you join our team in ensuring the 'powerful' people of the world are those who've evolved. People like you and I, we are the type who should be shaping the future."

Molly moved to Hamish's side of the desk and leaned on the edge of the desk facing him.

"I'm certain that you'll find the working conditions here more than agreeable." She smiled

Hamish stared at Molly's chest as she spoke.

"I'm in." He said without hesitation. "Now, where's the scotch? I'm dying for a drink."
