Full Metal Alchemist, why it is so interesting

Now I may not be the type of person who watches a lot of anime. But this series does grab my attention. not in the action pack way like others that I ignore, but in history.

Plus not every episode is retarted action. half of it is drama. This makes the battles more meaningful and rare. Unlike Dragonball Z where battles and diologe last several episodes.

There was a time in the renosance or whatever where real alchemists worked in their labs, tring to turn lead into gold.

anyways, I am one who doesn't like a lot of japan's animated series, but I don't hate this.
