Pt. 1: Meetings and Secrets
Created by and ©'ed to: Juria aka Emanuel.
Beyblade is ©'ed to Hasbro, I think.
This story has been rated PG-13, so far. If I wish to change the rating, I shall do so.
The exact ages for Tyson, Max, and Ray: 27

Enjoy my insanity.
Certain couples are together just as a part of my story, and not ment to offend anyone. Also, Ray's village has gotten a little more modernized, but not too much.
Katrina (Kai's daughter. Age:14), Alex(Ray's son. Age: 11, almost 12), J.T.(Max's son. Age: 13), Elizabeth (Tyson's daughter. Age: 13), and Anna (Kenny's daughter. Age: 12) are all ©'ed to me.

Alex ran through the streets of his chinese hometown, hoping his parents wouldn't be too mad at him for being late. "Oh great, the sun's almost down. Now I'm really in for it." he thought to himself, running past shops and taverns, hoping his mother and father would cut him a break. When he finally stopped in front of the porch to his home, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Great, I'm still early, and they arn't home." he said to himself. Suddenly, a hand fell on his shoulder. "Alex?" the voice asked. Alex quickly spun around, his shooter aimed at the owner of the voice. He lowered his launcher when he identified the owner of the voice. Ray stood in front of his son, his arms crossed. "Alex, that's twice this week you've been late coming home. You're lucky that your mother is still out shopping, otherwise you might as well start running." Ray said, staring down at his son. "Dad, I'm sorry." he said, trying to explain himself. Ray sighed. "You know your work comes before any bey-battle, haven't I always taught you that?" he asked firmly. Alex hung his head in shame. "I'm sorry, really." he said, gulping. Ray sighed again, then placed his hand on Alex's shoulder. "I'm going to let this slide one more time, but only one more time, you hear me?" he asked. Alex nodded. "I'll remember to do my chores first, and battle second." he said, walking in to the house. Ray walked in behind him. "I'm going to take your word for it this time, but one more slip-up, and I'll take away your blade, you get me?" he asked, keeping his firm tone. Alex nodded again, then walked up the stairs to his room, and shut the door behind him.

Ray chuckled softly to himself. "He's even more involved in it then we used to be." he thought to himself. Suddenly, Ray heard the sounds of a foot tapping on the floor. Ray gulped, then slowly turned around. "Oh, hi Mariah." he said, nervously greeting his wife. Mariah ran up to him and got right in his face. "What in the hell was that all about?!" she asked angirly. "I though I told you to make sure Alex got home on time, or take it away from him." she said sternly. "Come on Mariah, give him a break. He's more involved in beyblading then we were, and you know it." Ray said. Mariah stared at her husband, then gently kissed him. "I hope he straightens up." she said, walking towards their bedroom. Ray chuckled to himself, then followed her. "You know, maybe you should try battling him at some point, just to see if he's improved any." he said, placing his hands on her shoulders. Mariah spun around, kissed him, and smiled warmly. "Alright, maybe I am just being too protective." she said, embracing Ray as they laid down on the bed. Mariah rested her head on Ray's chest, hearing their hearts beat together. " I love you." she whispered. "And I love you." Ray whispered back to her, before sleep began to take over both of them.

The next morning.....

Mariah woke up, her hair a sticking up all over the place. "Oh great." she mumbled to herself, gently lifting herself off of Ray, hoping not to wake him. Mariah quietly walked into the bathroom, combed her hair to her satisfaction, then walked back into the bedroom and threw on a white t-shirt and white pants w/ pink stripes running down them. Tying her pink hair back in a ponytail, she walked out on the porch, and noticed how tired Alex looked, and yet how he tried his best to walk towards the house, with two pails of water in his hands. Mariah looked at him, then sighed. "Here, let me help you." she said, taking one of the pails from him. Alex groaned. " Sorry I didn't get this done yesterday." he said, smiling weakly. Mariah shook her head, sat the pail on the steps, and then sat down herself. "Come here Alex." she said softly. Alex sat his pail down next to hers, then sat down next to her. "What is it?" he asked. "Do you remember when your father talked about his battle with Bryan?" she asked. Alex nodded his head. "Yes, I think he almost died." he said. Mariah sighed. " I'm sorry Alex. I'm sorry I tried to get you to do most of the chores I did as a child, on your own. I shouldn't have you do this all by yourself." she said.

Just then, Mariah and Alex both heard a rustling from a nearby group of bushes. Mariah readied her own beyblade, as did Alex. "Alright, whoever you are, show yourself right now." Mariah said sternly. Suddenly, a boy around Alex's age stepped out from the bushes, wearing dark green and orange overalls (like Max from season 1). "Whoa, don't fire, I'm unarmed." he said, holding his arms up in the air. Alex placed his hand on his forehead, and shook his head. "J.T., what are you doing hiding in the bushes?" he asked, groaning. "Dude, it's cool that your mom's lightening up. I mean, for a while, she sounded like a real jerk." J.T. said, laughing. "Alex, who is this?" Mariah asked. The young boy looked up at her and grinned, and it was that grin that made her realize who his father was. "Wait a minute, is your dad Max Tate?" she asked. J.T. chuckled. "Wow, and all this time, I thought looking like my dad was an insult. By the way, my name's Jonathan, but everyone calls me J.T. " he said, chuckling as he lifted one of the pails of water. "Well J.T., you're welcome around here. Come on in, and you can meet my husband." she said. Ray suddenly jumped behind Mariah, landing silently like a cat. Unfortunatly, Mariah turned around, freaked, and punched him in the face. "Ahh." she screamed, suddenly taken by suprise. J.T. and Alex both quickly sat their pails down and ran beside Mariah. "Whoa, jeeze." J.T. said, suprised by what he saw. Alex groaned. "Oy, parents." he said, picking up his pail and heading in the house. J.T. picked his up and followed suit, while Mariah picked her husband up off of the ground.

Ray held his jaw, groaning. "Jeeze, that's a nice way to greet your husband in the morning." he said, holding the icepack to his sore face. Mariah sighed. "Well, I'm sorry, but you just snuck up on me, and you didn't say anything, so I just reacted." she said, feeling a little guilty. Ray looked over at J.T. and Alex, who both had a grin on their faces. "Fine, go ahead and do it." he said. With that, J.T. and Alex both bursted into a fit of laughter. Suddenly, they stopped when they heard the door open. "I thought I heard you two laughing, sounds like two cackling buzzards." a dark-blue haired guy said, leaning aganist the entryway, a smirk on his face. "Hey, just who do you think you are, barging in here like this?" Mariah asked demandingly. It took her a couple of seconds, but suddenly, her eyes lit up. "Kai?" she asked. Kai stepped out from the shadows, mostly because Hillary shoved him. "Hey guys." she said, then she saw Ray's face. "Oh, bad timing?" she asked. "No, it's just fine." Ray said, standing up. Hillary suddenly stopped and turned to Kai. "Where's Katrina?" she asked. As if on cue, a young, light-blue haired girl jumped from the top of the steps to the floor. She wore dark blue jeans, and a black tank-top. She also had on red wristbands, black gloves, and white shoes. "I'm right here, why?" she asked, her arms crossed over her chest. For some odd reason, neither Alex or J.T. could stop stareing at her, until she glared at them."And just what are you two looking at?" she asked. "Um, nothing, why?" Alex asked nervously. Katrina walked slowly towards him, and stopped just a few inches from his face. She quickly looked Alex over, noticing how he was mostly dressed in red, except for his black shoes and white headband. "You're pathetic." she said, calmly brushing past him and out the door.

Hillary sighed and shook her head. "She's so much like her father." she said, sighing. "Tell me about it." Ray said. J.T. and Alex decided that hearing parents talk was one of the most boring things in the universe, and decided to follow Katrina. The two boys could barely keep up with her, as Katrina rounded a corner and ducked into an alley. At the last second, she turned around and faced the shadows. "Alright, come on out." she said. After a few seconds, she grew impatient. "Now!" she said, much more sternly. Slowly, J.T. and Alex stepped into the light, their heads hanging low. Katrina glared at both of them. "Why were you following me?" she asked. J.T. grinned nervously. "Um, hey. Katrina, is it?" he asked, sweat dripping down his shirt. Katrina pinned him against a wall, and gave him a seductive look. "That's right. And you are?" J.T. gulped. "Um, uh." he started to speak, then noticed Katrina's knee aimed at his groin. "Look kid, I know who you are, and I know all about your family history. Now, either follow, or shut up and get out of my way." she said, pushing off of the wall after bringing her fist inches from his head.

J.T. and Alex exchanged a glance, then quickly followed Katrina through the long, winding maze of alleyways and garbage cans, before they entered a large, dimly-lit area, similar to a baseball diamond, complete with a surrounding fence. A large group of kids stood around a make-shift bey-stadium, deciding who would go first. They stopped talking when Katrina showed up, Alex and J.T. following close behind. One of the kids looked down at Alex. "Hey, what the hell is the Kon kid doing here?" he said. Katrina looked back at them, then looked down at the kid. "They're with me. Got a problem with it?" she asked. The kids slowly backed off, all but one, an arrogent red-hair punk. His eyes locked on Katrina's. "Name's Cyrus. What's a pretty little thing like you doin' here, sweetheart?" he asked, smirking at her. Katrina glared at him. "Shut up and battle me, or I'll kick your ass from here to New York and back." she said sternly.

Cyrus never lost his smirk, even after he locked in his blade. "Come on then. Show me what ya got." he said. Katrina sighed, locked eyes with Cyrus, and locked her blade into it's launcher. "I'm gonna enjoy this." she said. "When I win, you'll make a nice girlfriend." Cyrus said. "Yeah, you wish." Katrina said. One of the smaller boys stepped between them. "You two ready?" he asked. Both Cyrus and Katrina gave a quick nod, then continued staring eachother down. The boy took a few steps back, and everyone else began the countdown. "3, 2, 1, Let it Rip!!" Both Cyrus and Katrina gave a loud yell as their blades shot out like two bullets from a gun. "Come on!" Cyrus shouted, his blade crashing into Katrina's. Katrina didn't even blink once as she shouted her orders. "Take him out, Black Dranzer!" She screamed. Almost instantly, Black Dranzer emerged from the beyblade, while Katrina's eyes glowed crimson red with fury. The entire area became silent as everyone was in shock, including Cyrus. His smirk had turned to a look of horror."But, that's impossible!" he shouted. Katrina replyed by giving a scream of rage as her Black Dranzer rampaged forward. In one fell swoop, Black Dranzer annilated Cyrus's blade. Cyrus dropped to his knees, tears falling from his eyes. "Who are you?" he asked, his lip quivering.

Before Katrina could answer, she heard her father's voice, and it wasn't happy. "Katrina Hiwatari!" Katrina turned around, as did J.T. and Alex, to come face-to-face with their parents. Needless to say, not a single one of them were pleased. Katrina's eyes slowly returned to normal as she faced her father. "Where in the hell did you get that bit-beast?" Kai asked, his gaze stern and focused. At this point, Alex and J.T. had hid behind their parents, unsure of what would happen next. Katrina scoffed at her father, then jumped straight up and balanced on the fence behind the bey-stadium. "What's wrong dad? I simply controlled what you never could." and with those final words, Katrina lept over the fence and vanished into the night. Kai turned to Alex and J.T., concern in his eyes, then he turned to Ray and Max, their faces all showing the same expression. "Come on, let's go." he said, walking past everyone, even his own wife. Alex and J.T. thought it best to keep quiet for now, and simply followed their parents, the image of Katrina's rage-filled eyes still fresh in their minds.

What will happen now?
What will J.T. and Alex's parent's reaction be?
Why did Katrina turn on her family?
All this and more will be answered in Beyblade X-Force Pt. 2: Truths and Consequences.

So, what do ya think?
