look, aren't they just so cute together? anyway, eli needs someone to make him feel comfortable with coming out and this guy will also be eli's first proper boyfriend. the plot that i've sort of got in my head right now goes a bit like this: eli and this guy (we'll call him john for now) meet somewhere. at this point, eli has a girlfriend although of course she's just a cover and he doesn't actually have any feelings for her. john is openly gay and happy with who he is, very much unlike eli. at first he doesn't realise that eli is gay, but twigs that he is unhappy with something. eventually eli will come to trust john enough to tell him everything. things go from there and they end up dating. however i'm not going to say they're definitely finals, since i don't like to tie down characters before they've even met. and i'm sure there will be some drama, probably in the form of arguing when eli is reluctant to come out to his family and friends.

about john now. his name is completely open. i'd say he should be early thirties, only because i don't think john barrowman can pass for any younger. occupation is up to you, but he should be a local. like i said above, he should be openly gay, since this plot won't really work as well if he's still in the closet too. everything else about him, history, personality is all completely open so please take him!
