THE RULES

REGISTRATION & APPLICATIONS

when you register to the site, please do so with your character's first and last names, all in lower case. if you don't so it right, don't worry! just let us know and we'll change it for you. it's not a big deal (: you should always check out the wanted ads too, just in case there's someone over there who takes your fancy! when you're applying to the site, keep in mind that we've got a couple of guidelines concerning the abilities your superhuman character can have! [url=]you can find them here,[/url] please do not post on the elsewhere on the board until your application has been accepted, unless it is in the face claims, someones wanted ad, etc. we classify ourselves as an r-rated site simply because we'll be allowing mature threads, with sex violence and even rock 'n roll if that's what you're into xP all mature threads need to be marked with an 'm' or 'mature'.

FACE CLAIMS

when you're choosing a face for your character, you can use anyone you like, just so long as they aren't some random from myspace or some person you've seen on the streets. you need to choose and actor, a model, a musician - someone along those lines. also, we will not allow face claims from cartoons, animated movies, etc. real people one, please! you also need to respect the wishes of people such as zoe kimball or frieda rose, who have requested that they not be used as face claims on roleplay sites anymore. other than that, go ahead and use anyone! <3

RATIOS

simple pimple. let's keep them relatively even, yeah? i know some people aren't comfortable playing male characters or female characters, and that's fine, but we really hate having to ban one gender or a specific membergroup. so please, have a look at the ratios, conveniently located on the sidebar at the left of the board, and try to make a character that might help to even them out! we'll love you forever. on the same note, try to make superhuman characters with different abilities. we don't want a city full of telekinetics or the like, after all! if we have too many people with the same ability, we will ban it. we do have a list of all abilities currently being used on the site, so if you want to know what's being used by who, check it out over [url=]here![/url]

CHARACTERS & ACTIVITY

you're welcome to have as many characters as you want, just as long as you can keep up with them! we're tired of having people join and ditch our sites, so we're going to ask that you log in to all of your accounts daily. you don't necessarily have to post with each of them daily, because sometimes you have to wait for your partner to respond, but logging in daily would be lovely. as we don't want the site to become clogged with people who are not active, we will add characters to an 'inactive' after five days of inactivity and delete accounts after ten days of inactivity. of course, if we know you'll be away, we won't bother, so make sure we know when you'll be away! <3 we want the site to last so you need to keep active, and as such we'll be having regular activity checks and the like. isn't that nice!? xD

GRAPHICS

we get asked about this a lot, so we've taken to including a little section in the rules so you all know! graphics for threads, signatures, etc should not exceed about 500px in width or they may stretch the board. avatars should be 200px in width. 200 x 300 is the general size for images, but anything under that is totally fine! ^^
