Some new clothes. Thats what Panda needed. She was in desperate need of some nice new clothes. She had been frumping around for the last month or so. It wasnt that she didnt have the money. She, well. She just didnt like shopping for clothes. And after an incident that left most her clothes destroyed. Well. She had been really putting it off as best as she could. But here she was today. Out and about to get the much needed wardrob. Armed with her credit card and lots of mental prepping, she drove to the mall in her nice black 1967 Chevrolet Impala. She loved her car. It was beautiful. And looked good as new. She took good care of it.

She parked it and made a mental note as to where it was located before she walked almost reluctantly into the mall. She started at Guess- poking around at the jeans, taking an arm load into the change room. She sighed as she avoided looking in the mirror. It wasnt something she wanted to look at. In them as she changed she might catch a glimps of her scars. And her scars repulsed her still. All these years later.

She managed to choose three pairs of jeans and some nice heeled shoes. But she didnt bother changing her plain black skinny jeans that she had arrived in. After a few stores later, and two large bags of things she made her way to the food court, feeling tired and strained. She found herself getting a nice ceasar salad. Okay. So she got two orders of it. The place was mostly full. But there were a few open stools at a bar top style table, so she and her heavy load made there way there, and settled in. She started to pick at her food with a sigh.
