fifteen years ago, the world at large was shocked by the revelation that superhumans were real. that the wolverines, the green lanterns and the shadowcats of the comic books we found so entertaining as children may have been walking down the street beside us as we made our way to work. but humans fear what they do not know, and fear leads to anger quite quickly. superhumans are widely disliked, are mistreated and are subjected to laws forbidding them from using or showing any of their abilities in public. humans are tainted by association, ridiculed and excluded for the genetic mutations of the children, friends, family or neighbours.

violence has become the norm in little moon. factions have formed, some fighting for superhuman rights and others rallying against them. radical groups such as the vindictam and the cleansers work outside the law, each fighting for the rights of their people. the g.i.s.t agency tries hard to keep the peace in the face of the rising civil war and the government secretly funds experiments led by leading science and research company, furley tech. the state of affairs in little moon is deteriorating by the day, an the apparently apathetic government does nothing to relieve the tension and pressure building in the community. it's only a matter of time until little moon explodes into civil war, or worse.
