Life... is good! Your life couldn't be better! Maybe your boss just gave you the ultimate raise. Maybe you over-aced that Algebra quiz. Either way, all is well.
On Earth.
But in the land of Conflict, things could be better. Let me explain...
What's this? An RP? What about? This particular roleplay centers around regular humans... In Conflict.
Recently, certain mirrors have been known to... "devour" people bough the reflection. No others know where they disappear off to. Fortunately, I do, and I'm going to clarify. The humans unlucky enough to be pulled into a transdimensional mirror find themselves in the land of Conflict. The inhabitants of Conflict are not much different than humans... Okay, maybe they are.
Conflict is split between two different races: Heroes and Villains. Now, you may be thinking, "So Heroes are heroes and Villains are villains, and the Villains terrorize the Heroes and the Heroes beat the crap out of the Villains." Well, suffice to say, that's not true. The Villains are not villains, and the Heroes are not heroes.
What the? Their island is called "Conflict", and the people are either Heroes or Villains, but there's no conflict and no heroes or villains? WTF? What's gong on here?
Well, "No conflict" isn't necessarily true either. Recently, both Heroes and Villains have found themselves facing a common enemy: The Chaos. Chaos is just one person, but--
Who is this "Chaos" person?!?
Well, I'll tell you later. The problem is, Chaos is a human.
WHAT?!?
Yeah. Exactly. So it's our humans job to get rid of Chaos. Are they up for it?
For this RP, you are free to choose which race you would like to play as: Human, Hero, or Villain. Now let me tell you about them...
Humans -You should know about them, so don't go complaining to me about how you have no idea what they're like.
Heroes -Families are referred to as "Families", same as us. -Families are signified by surname, same as as us. However, the surname is the name of the region you live in. Ex) If you lived in Pennsylvania, your name could be Rhys Pennsylvania. Or if you lived in Scotland, your name could be Rosie Scotland. But these are real-life examples. Humans don't actually do that. Unless there was a country named Smith. And this also means that anyone else with the surname Scotland would be your family. -Now, when two people (from different regions, of course,) marry, the female gives up all relation to her previous region to now be related to her husband's family. This also means changing Surnames. Sound familiar? P:
Villains -Families are referred to as "Gen". They are signified by the last syllable of the person's name (known as Sylls). Ex) Dugaru, Lavaru, and Kururu are all related because they all end in "ru" and have three syllables (see below*). -There are NO surnames as a Villain. -When married, the male takes on his spouse's syll (different from us and Heroes, eh?). Ex) KerrexDesuru --> KerruxDesuru. -The number of syllables* signify the original (birth) class. --1 - Serf --2 - Low --3 - Middle --4 - High --5 - Royal (there have not been Royals for the past 96 years, however.) NOTE: Classes do not exist for prejudiced reasons. In fact, recently, it didn't really matter how many syllables your name has. However, 5-syllabled names are forbidden.
Heroes ONLY: There are will be 25 different regions to choose from.
1) Dazz 2) Fordd 3) Silur 4) Keyro 5) Reguilam 6) Rskalja 7) Taithin 8) Jadin 9) Ale-as 10) Nyis 11) Say'tia 12) Lilith 13) Asril 14) Erefah 15) Nyste 16) Dar'dra 17) Engul 18) Croll 19) Osero 20) Pholle 21) Irassa 22) Guren 23) Varst 24) Qenn 25) Jae
(I would appreciate it if you suggested names for regions, as the list is almost bare.)
Sound good?
