Dear Diary,

I cannot often speak my mind... in fact I can never speak my mind. There is something within me that halts my tongue when I would use it to speak against the Synicate and those who run it. My feet halt when I would turn in the opposite direction. Writing this diary is the only way I can really rebel... and even now my hand is trembling, my hand writing is terrible. However there is something that makes me write now.

I am IT's new handler.

IT they say is a monster, but I did not see that... I saw a man trapped in a body unable to speak. He was offended, obviously intelligent and... wild. He strutted around his room naked without shame, through a fit and then slept like baby. I am a little worse for wear, a little shaken from his explosion of rage but it could be worse. I could be dead. He could have killed me instead of just tossing me to the ground. I should report this but I can handle it, it apologized and I now know how to tread.

I just have to prepare myself for the next encounter.

Dear Diary,

Something has happened.

Something changed.

I don’t know when or how or why but… IT is no longer a burden to me. Indeed, I enjoy his company –mostly. He asks questions, talks to me like I’m not some kind of idiot, he hasn’t hurt me since the first incident and… when did I start to find the man attractive? I have never found any man physically attractive before, too often I look past their exteriors and try to see what they are like behind their eyes but… I am far too distracted by this man.His skin is the color of copper, his muscles are rock solid and he stands as majestically as the Maple Tree he declared his favorite. I see more intelligence in him than before, though I see just as much wild when he romps through the trees. He is a curious man. One I intend to decipher. I wonder if his German is better than his English…

In other news I visited William. Poor man, he always forgets to take care of himself. Viktor should assign him a caretaker –an assignment I would be happy to do- it is not right to let one of the brightest minds in the Syndicate forget to eat.
