OVER ALL APPEARANCE: Drew has always been an attractive man. From the time he was a young boy he had the dashing good looks of a man who was able to get whatever he wanted with a smile. He came from old money- his father being a successful businessman in the state of New York- so he was also dressed in the finest wears. These choices in clothing have pushed over to his current lifestyle. As the second New York State Senator he is always found wearing a suit and tie; mainly in neutral colours; while he is on the job. While not working, the handsome Democrat is still dressed nicely with vests and scarves worn over button-down shirts and business casual slacks. He fits into his clothes nicely as a man with a solid build from years of keeping himself in shape. The Senator is only seen wearing casual clothes; sweat pants or shorts and a tee shirt; when jogging through his neighbourhood every morning and working out in his private gym after dinner.

He stands slightly taller than the average man at six foot and weighs in at one hundred and seventy-six pounds. For his age he is a very solid man who keeps his frame through cardio, tennis, and free weights. His face is definitely his best feature so he refuses to hide it under any facial hair and maintains a very trim beard. He often jokes with his son that his long blonde hair is an obstruction to his smile; but Nicholas can find pictures of his father when he was younger also sporting very long hair. When Drew smiles he captivates a room and seems to draw people in. People trust him- too easily at times to the point where some may believe he holds the power to entice people through his gaze. This is furthest from the truth. People trust the Senator because he is handsome; a trait which only God and hard work can achieve.

OVERALL PERSONALITY: Above all things Andrew Kingsley is a businessman even more than he is a husband or a father. Wealth and power mean more to him than any other thing- though this doesn’t mean that he doesn’t care for his children and wife. In fact, he cares for them deeply because their connections in his life assume the appearances that he is a strong individual who is able to maintain a family in addition to running a successful business. Andrew learned of business from his father and grandfather; both men have since passed away. Andrew can be cut-throat in his approach to business and seldom cares for the feelings of those who work beneath him. He also prefers a strong, white, male group to be his main supporters though does hire one woman and one non-Caucasian to show that he is not a racist. He knows that image is everything and wants to show that he is accepting to all types and races even though the reverse is the truth.

He wants the picture perfect family; much like the famed Kennedy clan; as his main goal is to become President some day. If ever his children or wife sways from his plans he is quick to correct them or send them off to lands forgotten. When his youngest daughter had an issue with the media and racey photographs he sent her to a boarding school on the West Coast for several years. He has many hardships with his eldest son- Nicholas- but understands that his boy is much like him and is hard to sway. Still, he knows that he will remove Nicholas from his life and his wealth if push comes to shove. Andrew believes firmly in marriage between a man and a woman- though he does have many hidden affairs. One affair produced an offspring that he has spent a lot of money to conceal. He must maintain his picture perfect lifestyle to ensure his climb up the political ladder.

OVERALL HISTORY: Andrew Joseph Kingsley was the only son born to Landon and Joanna Kingsley of New York City. The couple had moved to New York shortly before their son’s birth to oversee the expansion of their family’s company from Dallas, Texas. Andrew’s grandfather; Nicholas; was an oil tycoon who obtained a large amount of wealth from the crude liquid found over his family’s land. Landon was taken to New York to oversee the treatment and distribution of the oil. From the time he was born it was expected of Andrew to take over the family business when he came of age. He was schooled in the best locations New York had to offer; mainly private boarding schools fixated towards the elite and wealthy. It was during his high school years that he met Elisabeth Montgomery; a shy woman who idolized Andrew and everything he was. She was beautiful and obeyed his every command so the pair dated for many years.

Andrew only left New York to attend school in Boston for University. He received his masters in Business and Finance before returning to New York City to run his family’s company as Vice Chair. Shortly thereafter Andrew married Elisabeth and Nicholas was born. It wasn’t long into the marriage before Andrew started having affairs with rich and wealthy women. One, however, produced an heir which Andrew quickly dismissed. The mother was a scientist to an organization that Kingsley Industries had a stalk in. Andrew paid the woman off to claim the child as someone else’s. He isn’t even aware of the boy’s name let alone what he is doing now. The Kingsley’s produced two more children; Holly and Cassandra. By the time Cassandra was born Andrew had secure himself as the mayor of New York City. The Business world was no longer a challenge for him. Now he wanted to control politics.

He was ruthless with his competitors and eventually became one of New York’s two State Senators. His rival, Michael Gates, is a soft man who cares too much for the supers of the city. Andrew sees them as a virus which must be combated. Knowing several individuals with large pockets, Andrew Kingsley will do whatever he has to ensure that the city is safe for his wife and three children. He expects many great things of them- including the future wedding of his eldest son. Now he just needs to get Nicholas to settle down with a beautiful and talented woman and follow him in the lifestyle of politics over the silly camera work he is associating himself with now.
