Title: Coming out of retirement
Description: Michael Monroe || 68 || Ex-Hero

MICHAEL MONROE - April 19, 2012 12:35 AM (GMT)
Michael Monroe is a man who had it all, he came from money in Britain to more money in the United States; his powers earnt him instant recognition, he was strong, near indestructible and seemed to escape death with ease. Now however he is getting old, he's breaking down and suffering from most if not all the regular symptoms of old age, he has spent a long time in the shadows, trying to find a way to escape his predicament. Recently however he has begun to make a comeback; for the first time since the fifties he is really trying to get himself noticed.

Despite his age Michael is a formidable force, rumor has it that when Titan disappeared it was in fact because in his last confrontation with a power sapping villain he had lost every power except for his resurrection ability, whether this is true or not however remains hotly debated.

Now Michael has returned and whatever else time might have ravaged he seems to have been restored to his full power level in both strength and resilience.

Currently Michael is looking for several things, firstly a way to extend his life, he suspects that he would be able to manage it by use of his ressurrection ability but he's no expert, which is unsurprisingly why he is looking for an expert.

Other than that Michael mostly wants to be recognised again; the recognition he got from when he was a hero was intoxicating and it would be more than fair to compare it to an addiction. He wants more of it, though whether he gets it from being a hero or a villain is something which he isn't at all bothered about.

So primarily the types of characters I'd like approaching me are either reporters/journalists, maybe someone who recognises him from an old newspaper and wants to do a story on him.

Another type of character are members of the Syndicate or the Legends coming to try and convince him to take a side with them. Due to his nature he isn't likely going to want to join either of them to begin with, however he could be persuaded.

A government agent trying to collar him could also work of course, I just see him likely leaping a few blocks away from them before they could even get a word out.

The final idea I suppose would be a scientist who at least claims they could offer him something, maybe longevity, increased powers, whatever. It's up you.

Anyway those are just my ideas, I'm not all here right now so I'm leaving it up to you. If you have any idea at all feel free to shout it out; I'll hear out every idea but if I feel it won't work I'll let you know as well, that's all I'm saying.

Hope to RP with you all very soon!

Michael&Gale
I'm not sue how they'd meet but once they did I think Gale would like Michael mostly due his chaotic stance as a rouge rather than a pronounced side. I think she would try and hang out with him and wouldn't really work to get him to become a syndicate but neither would she approve of him becoming a legend. So I think that about sum's it up if I think of anything more plotful I'll run it past you.

Well that sounds pretty interesting, Michael himself chooses to be a Rouge because he can't really see any real clinching reason to join either side. He doesn't like the uptight, almost dogmatic, 'traditional' superhero model which the Legends enforce and he doesn't like the idea of basically becoming marked and labelled for the government's convenience. He can understand the Syndicate's goals and to some extent approves of them but with them currently appearing as no more than a somewhat disorganised group primarily concerned with chaos he doesn't really want to join them either.

So yeah, I think they'd get on. We should probably see what we can come up with.
