Iconic Knights

ICONIC LAWS

These are the ICONIC LAWS. They are a set of commandments and codes to maintain balance between any disturbing parties. In order to maintain a healthy membership and partake in this clan without any trouble you must abide by these set of rules and maintain your best possible conduct. Failure to do so may result in severe sanction and possibly removal from the clan. Remember, the consequences listed are only general guidelines for punishments. No one person is above the law in Iconic Knights.

Forum Rules

[1] Respect all members and staff appropriately regardless of any situation.
Flaming, profane language, sexism, or any sort of discrimination towards another player shall not be tolerated! Use your words wisely.
Consequence: +Warning -> Temporary Ban -> Permanent Ban

[2] Sharing or hacking another player's account may result in serious punishment.
DO NOT under any circumstance share your details of any account relatively close to the clan. This includes your FORUM account, RUNESCAPE account, or even IRC account.
Consequence: Permanant Ban

[3] Inadequate or inappropriate profile information shall not be tolerated.
Incorrect details or profane posts/avatars/signatures/etc shall not be acceptable as there are minors viewing the site. Please keep it as PG as possible.
Consequence: +Warning -> Temporary Ban -> Permanent Ban

[4] Spam belongs in the appropriate section!
Any post containing spam not in the Spamzilla section shall be dealt with accordingly. Due to the vagueness of this rule, it will be up to the staff's discretion.
Consequence: +Warning

IRC Rules

[1] Respect all members and staff appropriately regardless of any situation.

[2] Power must be used appropriately.
Power must be used in a correct manner appropriately regarding the situation. Power abusing may result in a severe consequence.
Consequence: Temporary Ban -> Permanent Ban

[3] DO NOT participate in a case if you are not involved in the accusation/problem.
If you are not part of an argument then DO NOT try and participate in it.
Consequence: +Warning -> Temporary Ban

[4] Staff shall take care of the discrepancy appropriately.
DO NOT try to handle an out-of-hand situation yourself. Notify an operator in the channel immediately and let them take care of it accordingly.
Consequence: +Warning

[5] Personal details should be kept to oneself.
Giving out your name may be the only exception to this rule. DO NOT give out your phone number/address/etc.
Consequence: +Warning -> Temporary Ban

[6] Any sort of spam shall not be tolerated.
Any kind of spam or flood through notification/private-message/direct-channel/excessive-caps-lock/advertising-of-websites/etc shall be dealt with accordingly.
Consequence: +Warning -> Temporary Ban -> Permanent Ban

Event/Other Rules

[1] Follow any leader's commands no matter the situation.
Follow all commands of any leader, respectively. This can make a big difference between a win or loss in battle.
Consequence: +Warning -> Suspension from next upcoming event

[2] Do not participate in multiple clans.
If you are caught responsible for participating in multiple clans while active in Iconic Knights you will be removed from the clan. This is a serious infraction. Joining a GWD team or some sort of mini-game may be an exception.
Consequence: Permanent Ban

[3] Be prepared before any event.
Make sure you have all the supplies and you are ready to go TEN minutes before hand of any event. If you are late, we shall not wait. You have the responsibility to show up on time or catch up on your own.
Consequence: +Warning -> Suspension from next upcoming event

[4] Participate in the appropriate means of communication.
Make sure you are in IRC and the Clan Chat at all times of the event!
Consequence: +Warning -> Temporary Ban

[5] Auto-Retaliate must be turned off through the duration of any war.
Turning auto-retaliate off shall prevent you from being drawn away from any pile. If you are commanded to snipe then it may be appropriate.
Consequence: +Warning

If you have read all the rules and you are now ready to apply, you will need the secret sentence. Copy and paste this where necessary on your application thread. It will be a vital key to join. It proves to us that you have really read the rules so we can avoid lazy newcomers.
