SAID TO HAVE BEEN BUILT BY DAEDALUS,
the castle that houses the Icarus Institute for the Mythologically Inclined has been around for ages. As a school, however, it has actually only existed for just over thirty years. The castle seems to have a mind of its own, and periodically repurposes itself. In the past, it has been a hospital, a laboratory, a home, and much more.

More recently, following a personal tragedy, Tobias Cooper came upon the castle and found it deserted. Some of the story is lost due to Tobias' quiet tendencies, but one short year after his discovery, he'd turned it into a school for children and young adults unable or unwilling to attend human schools.

For about thirty years now, Headmaster Cooper has run a good, efficient school, but strange things have started happening. Students disappear in the middle of the night, there's a strange miasma in the classrooms on the second floor, and where has the headmaster been disappearing to?
