A month after his meeting with Blaine, Shay decided to visit his old surroundings, starting with Diagon Alley, as risky as it was running into someone he knew, he didn't care anymore, Blaine's return opened his eyes and for the remainder of that month he cleaned up and got his shit together.
Arriving to London struck Shay with mixed feelings, he loved the place, but the familiar faces were unavoidable, however he wasn't going to let that soil his evening, as he walked around diagon alley kids recognized him and took pictures, things he didn't mind too much, the kids were one of the reasons why he actually stayed in Quidditch, he stopped for an ice cream before sitting down on the street and looking at people pass by.

A month after finally giving birth to her second child, Laura was now back into her old shape and was now shopping out for some outfit for herself and well more for her baby. It's a good thing Logan was watching Alexis, so Laura can have all the time in the world for some alone time, which she rarely got now that her baby girl's born. And we're not posting this just to kill yourself

Laura had walked out of one of Voula's shop and was carrying a shit load of bags in her hands. As she walked to get something to eat, like some deja'vu or like most of their meetings when ever he disappears and comes back, Laura spotted a very familiar face. She was surprise to see his Irish ass back in London but for some reason, not that surprised.

Is this some yearly anniversary or something? I mean you go and disappear for such a long time and with great timing you come back and run into me. What gives O'Shay?

Shay finished eating his ice cream but remained seated as people drifted by him, nothing was the same, he missed everyone, as much as he tried to deny it, playing in Ireland was a mistake, he could have easily stayed in England and made the Irish national team nevertheless, as he felt a strange feeling of warmness and kindness he hadn't felt in years he refused to look up to be disappointed again, as the person finished talking he figured out who it was.

He refused to look up, to see the face of the past, as emo as that sounds, Shay stared at the ground with half a smile on his face, it was Laura, he knew it, her voice, her precense he could feel, he would bet his life on this.

Laura raised a not so amusing brow at him but eased up on the guy. Usually when it's been a long ass time since you last saw a person, they should be happy and greet them with enthusiasm but Laura was far too used to his style. But she eventually greet him with a sincere smile after putting down all her shopping bags.

Whatever. It's nice to see you still alive. How long has it been?

She asked as she made herself comfortable on the seat in front of him. Sorry buddy, the face of the past had just taken the seat in front of you. It's no use running away Laura was happy to see him though and that was always good.

He shuffled uncomfortable as Laura took as seat infront of him, he faked his better smile and looked up, she was still beautiful, he couldn't help but think about the first night he saw her at hogwarts, when she was barely a young hufflepuff, they ended up together but he ended up ruining it, as usual.

He lied right to her face, he scanned her for a moment stopping at her hand as he noticed as wedding band, he felt his heart shatter into a million pieces but kept the smile on his face, who was the lucky man, he didnt know and at the time he was too hurt to even care about them, whoever he was, he should treasure her, for as long as he was around her, she would not know how badly this hurts him

And yet, after he had ruined their relationship, Laura was actually hoping that they'd get back together. But that never happened and then came Logan. It was usually the same thing. You see there was actually a pattern here. When Logan had broken it off because of their so called "differences", Laura was stayed single for the longest time after that. Then later met up with Logan but nothing happened there since he got into that accident and was pronounced dead, but wasn't really. After so many long nights of crying and loneliness, Shay happened to appear from being gone for a long time. They got together and just like that he disappeared in a blink of an eye. Years after that Laura had found out that Logan was alive and insert happy ending here. See, there's a pattern and it was how we know it.

Now, even if Laura hadn't been with Shay that long and only knew him most of the time as a friend, she could still sense something from him. Like how he sounded too enthusiastic. Which sounded like a fake one to Laura. This made her wonder what's with the uncomfortableness. She then followed his gaze and YAHTZEE!she got it. But why should he be bothered by that, right. He's been gone a long time with no owls or any sort of way to contact her. So of course she thought that there's nothing there on his part.

Yeah. It has been. Any story on that or it's just one of those Seamus O'Shea MIA thing?

She asked, since she was wondering where had he been. It's just another way to just hold on with the drama til later.

This is true, the pattern was quite true Shay was quite shocked at the band, but decided to make no comments on it and let everything go as much as it hurt him, it was all in the past, or so he thought, he was in London in search for something better and so far he had failed, He smiled again and let the conversation flow as natural as he could.

He said laughing a humorless laugh, seeing as he was stuck in the same place since his career started, considering the last 3 games of the season he outdid himself, he was out to look for a new team around London, anyone could take him, he showed how great he still was at quidditch.

He asked sincerely not looking for any drama, he was a curious lad, as much as he would hate the answer, it was eating him inside to know.

Papers huh? Well I haven't been keeping up with things lately. As you can see Shay, thing aren't the same here anymore. The Ministry is down and a whole lot of chaos had been taking over. So, I really don't have time to check out the quidditch sections. But that's good to know though. You actually staying in one place. Something new from you.

Laura kept a sincere smile on her face while she filled Shay in with what had been happening in the wizarding world of England. We all know that Laura's all for the Ministry and the power, since she had been working there all her life. The plans with Balthazar was still on progress and going down. Plus, the one that Logan and Blaine cooked up with but Laura knows nothing of.

That smile on her face was still there when Shay had finally found the balls to ask her about her wedding ring. She looked down on her wedding finger and couldn't help but smile a bit bigger. This wasn't a smile to hurt him or anything. Laura doesn't even know that Shay still has a thing for her.

Logan.

She happily said, her fingers stretched out in front of her and admired her ring a bit. She then look up at Shay totally oblivious at how this was affecting him.

He listened carefully as she spoke, he wasn't about to let his attention wander and risk looking like a jackass, he was filled in on the whole London situation, he actually already knew about this from Blaine but he played dumb, not wanting to reveal anything that Blaine had said so he just stayed quiet.

Shay watched her as her Smile grew bigger when he asked about the lucky man, this didn't make him feel any better but when he heard the name he was relieved but then again not, he had mixed feelings about this whole thing, He knew and loved Logan like a brother but having this whole Laura thing bothered him, but not enough to throw both of them out the window, besides Logan and Shay were in something together, so nothing could tear them apart.

Glad to hear it's not someone I can't stand

He laughed sincerely, he was sort of glad to hear Logans name. made everything he thought he had left for Laura disappear much quicker, not disappear but it made it easier for him to push the feelings away

Laura chuckled, hearing his response. Well he took it good. Not like Laura wouldn't think that Shay would take it really bad. She had no idea on whether he had a thing for her. Because it had been a long ass time since they had seen or talked. If he still had something for her, he should've sent her owls and whatnot. But no, he didn't. Laura expected it of course. She knew Shay well enough, so hope was no where near.

I'm glad that you're fine with that. I mean, it is Logan. And you and Logan are close. I'd invite you to the wedding but you were no where to be found.

She chuckled then bend down to reach into one of her bags for a bottled of water. Laura found the bottle, opened it, and drank from it. Aaahhh, refreshing.

Shay looked at her for a moment as she talked about the wedding and invitations, if they looked he could have been found, but he wasn't going to hold this against Laura nor Logan, for he was well over it by now, he was just really glad that she was happy, same came to Logan, as far as Shay went all he needed was a little London pick me up to get back into his groove, his hunt for a new team hadn't begun but he wasn't quite excited about it, he looked at Laura with the water and extended his hand asking for some.

He said with a sincere smile, he was, truly, he wasn't the one to dwell on the past, well at least till recent he wasn't, he had plans, things to look foward to, and besides Love could be hiding behind any corner, not that he cared much for it at the time, he was far more interested in the plot than woman, quite rarity for Shay.

So after all this time, all you can tell me is Marriage and the Ministry trouble?

He laughed wanting to know more about what has been going on, and making the post a bit longer : )

Laura beamed a happy smile at Seamus after drinking then handed him the bottled of water. Seeing as he was extending his hand for it.

Well...what is there really...I got two kids now. Just recently delivered my second about a month ago. So, if you don't like what you see, I've got a reason.

She laughed a bit, making fun of herself. She knew that she had lost a lot of baby weight and felt really good about it. And this was why she was out here celebrating. She needed to look good in order to feel good.

Shay laughed and nodded as Laura spoke to him, he took a drink of her water and gave it right back, he didn't realize how thirsty he was until he took a drink of the water, with a smile he slightly scanned her as she mentioned the babies

I knew something was off about you

He said jokingly but keeping a straight face, not able to hold it for much longer he busted up laughing, Shay tought Laura looked as great as she did before, nothing would change his mind, actually she was even sexier now with the Pregnacy boobs, a bit bigger, they were a great addition, she should consider keeping them, Shay waited for her reaction with a huge smile on his face then shook his head to let her know it was all in good fun.
