Special Update on the Santiago Concert
for the Benefit of the Children of St. Mungrove's Orphanage
"Last night, thousands of guests bore witness to a fear-inspiring sight, as the Santiago Concert fell victim to yet another propagandized attack by the infamous Legion network. A massive, remote-controlled zeppelin was steered directly across the open arena of the Wembley Stadium and launched a rain of playing deck cards over the unsuspecting crowd. The cards were strewn with Legion slogans and misanthropy, for which the underground terrorist organisation has become famous.
No reports of injuries or casualties as a result of the Legion stunt have been reported, and Santiago spokespersons proclaim the night to have been successful on the whole -- the numerous donations throughout the night have left the children of St. Mungrove's quite well off, as they now have a whopping 2 million british pounds to help improve their lives.
However, the night proved to be fatal for a member of the Santiago household.
The Santiagos, a Family already stricken with grief after the recent loss of Scottish Family Head Arran Santiago, saw another terrible loss last night. Abigail Santiago, widow of Arran, was found dead of an overdose of sleeping pills in her bed last night when the Family came home. Santiago representatives have yet to confirm whether the tragic incident was an accident, or, indeed, the deliberate result of a woman completely stricken with grief after the untimely loss of her husband. Perhaps we will never know.
What we do know is that our thoughts go out to the Santiago Family in their time of need, and we hope that they will soon see an end to the string of devastating events that have plagued their household ever since the uprising of the Legion. May the culprits be brought to justice, and soon!"
