[Minoru Senshi]

Another neutral day.

No rain, no wind, no people, no nothing. It seemed as if Minoru was the only one on the planet, besides the few stray cats and dogs going at each other in alleyways.

He was always used to alone, and he didn’t mind. Just another normal weekend for him supposedly.

He took another drag from his cigarette and looked at the sky. Smoking wasn’t something he did on a regular basis, but usually once or twice a week, when he was calm. He could defiantly keep his habit under control. He could quit anytime he want, and he knew it.

“I’m so bored… ” He thought while resting the hand holding his cigarette on his knee to mimic his other arm.

Minoru was sitting on a curb outside of a park across from Taco Bell. His stomach was as empty and skinny as ever but he didn’t feel hungry at all. Well, maybe for a light snack, none the less, he didn’t altar.

Karasu walked around town. He looked up at the sky sighing wishing it was a cooler day. He stopped near outside of a Taco Bell examining the broken remains of a green beet bottle watching the sparkle in the minute amounts of sunlight pouring in from the clouds.

They seem shiny... he thought almost hypnotized by the sight. He didn't really notice the man across from him who sat on the curb while Karasu bent down on his knees looking at the glass.

Minoru looked up curiously with his expression blank at the new male who was a few yards away form him. He seemed to be bent down looking at, glass? Probably because of it shimmered off of the sun. It could be pretty.

He pondered why he would like it so much as to study it like he was but he respected his fixation. Minoru actually found it quite interesting. He’d never seen anyone like this before.

And those eyes.

Even from the stretched distance he could see the others eyes shine brightly off of the glass. They were an extravagant bright blue, quite unique.

It wasn’t really his place or thing to talk to random people but this time he actually wanted to, although his inflexibility wouldn’t let him. Maybe he’d get lucky.

Karasu felt someone's glance on him. He looked up with his bright blue eyes, "Yes?" he asked in a questioning curious tone of voice. He was confused why people looked at him.

Mommy says it's impolite to stare... he thought to himself. Am I doing something wrong!? he thought a bit panicked.

As that thought crossed his mind his gaze fell back down to the glass. "I'm sorry..." he whispered

Minoru raised his eye brows a bit as his wish of communication came true. He sighed slightly and took one last drag from his cigarette and smothered it out on the ground, lightly stomping on it with his foot to finish it.

“What are you apologizing for? You didn’t do anything wrong.” He said plainly with a calm tone while keeping his focus on the guy. He casually leaned back on his palms which were behind him.

He then let a very small smile cross his lips.

Karasu didn't know much about communication. He normally just agreed to whatever he was told. He had been sheltered almost his whole life living in the shame of secrets.

"So what is your name?" he asked.

That is basic casual information... they always ask that on tests... he used that logic to figure out how to start a conversation.

"I am Karasu Kagamiren" he gave his name out to show what he meant thinking that Minoru might not understand such a simple question. Karasu didn't think the other was stupid. He was just trying to be helpful.

Minoru felt the need to stand as he did and walked over to Karasu so they were in normal talking distance. He extended his hand politely. “I’m Minoru Senshi. It’s nice to meet you, Karasu.” He spoke as if his words would break Karasu, planting each one carefully.

Minoru had already studied Karasu’s actions and precautions so he decided not to be so casual. After all a first impression was the most important thing.

Karasu catiously took Minoru's hand after standing up to his full height, he wasn't extremely tall nor short. He shook once. "Yes, nice to meet you" he parroted the words he had heard in many greetings.

His eyes than glanced down to the pavement to where the glass was. It was so hypnotizing to him. He didn't know why but he couldn't help but love shiny objects.

He was at a lose for words on what to try next as he released Minoru's hand. "Um..." he said shyly and tucked a lose lock of jet black hair behind his ear.

Once their introduction was over Minoru let his hands drift into his pants pockets casually. If he’d been able to excel at normal school engagement he could defiantly make small talk with Karasu.

“So, you go to Hiroyuki right? I think I’ve seen you around a few times.” Then again he didn’t really pay attention to the people he didn’t know. Karasu could have been a few classes with him and Minoru would be so oblivious as to not know.

Even as he spoke Karasu eyed the glass, as it seemed to mesmerize him. It was a mystery to Minoru why he was so interested in it. That was defiantly something he’d want to ask.

Karasu heard Minoru speak though he couldn't seem to pull his eyes away from the glittering glass.

"Yes I am from Hiroyuki High School" he answered in a soft tone of voice. He wasn't much of an loud person unless he was distressed and hated loud noise.

Teacher says when people talk I should look into their eyes... But when I do... I see myself. he shuddered slightly in his mind but looked compused outwardly. Something so ugly should not grace the eyes of something meant to be perfect

"You seem so timid before you answer my questions. Is something bothering you? Distracting?" Minoru asked with piercing eyes and a small smile. Even if he didn't mean it his gaze was just so intimidating he worried he might scared Karasu away, so he took about half a step back to ease the tension.

Although keeping his gaze down towards the glass also he decided to speak again "Are you afraid others might reject your answers?" His eyes were now soft.
