I'm surprised Koala didn't create a topic for this so I went ahead and did it myself. This also means we need to start talking about our anime at the forums people!

As the first one to post, Let me start by saying Haruhi Suzumiya is probably my fourth favorite anime in terms of originality and creativity, right after my all time favorites in Death Note, Monster, and FMA which are only slightly better. Of course, after Haruhi is Code Geass but that's a discussion for another day.

Season 2 is currently very hyped right now after waiting for three years or so. Of course, in case Koala can't blog it, Miken has already volunteered and I'm right in line after Miken. Most of us watch this anime already; all of us heard of it. So now...

Let's discuss! XD

The nice boat ruined it for me...you know what I mean.

Otherwise, it was awesome seeing old characters back with new material in TV broadcast form.

I don't understand what you guys are talking about but for Episode 2, Kyon is back to normal and that is what I like. The second season so far doesn't have the same feel as the first season. Then again, it's only been two episodes. ^^

I believe it's more the second episode than the first Minnie. The second episode doesn't feel very Haruhi because it is so normal. So far though, I am not at all disappointed with the second season. I am disappointed with the OP and ED though...

.... Just wait for the third episode.

If my intuition is correct, it's a 2-part story.

I'm going to make an educated guess and say you've read the books Koala? Doesn't it make it slightly boring for you? It happens often for those who read the source material and know what is going to happen next.... most of the time.
