slowly... but yeah... we are making some head way. we found someone, maybe, to make our outfits. I found silk flowers (lasts a life time ^_~) and we settled DEFINITELY on colors. I have the save the date cards ready to be printed etc etc etc.

we are looking for tiki torches but their rather expensive.

Maybe you could make your own? Then again, you mentioned that there might be children at the event, are the torches safe enough for younger people to be around?

Also, since you are printing stuff, do you need a high-def file of entertwention?

Sorry Guys, We had to push the date back. We ended up moving from NC back in with my parents in North Carolina.

A lot has happened... We are HOPING that next year we will be able to have the wedding... but our outfits havnt been made, the menu isnt set, and the place is iffy.

It is looking as if I am going to have to throw 2 seperate ones one here in OK for my mother and then one in NC for everyone else... though the second one seems it gonna have to be kept a secret from my mother... she is terrified of halloween... and she thinks that becouse i want a celtic/ pagan ceremony that im a wican/witch.... so to appease her i have to make a leatha wedding for her (spring/ summer) and then have one on halloween night.... this has gotten SOOO confussing... and our budget didnt increase but decreased....

It looks like maybe it'll be maybe not even next but the year after that at this rate... adn im not getting any help from the groom (my husband leagally due to a magistrate cerimony <makes it easier when we plan on whos going to be the officiate at teh weddings>)

nor am i getting help from my mother or his.... I thank you all for helping the way you have so far. I am trully greatful

With the torches, I am hoping that it is safe... but i am not completely sure yet.

If any one has any idea where we can have our wedding we are looking for a forest that allows fires, and a large group of people.

Well, We got married Via magistrate, so technically we are husband and wife, but we still want a wedding for us and our friends and family to enjoy.

Just having one hell of a time doing it.

We did the magistrate ceremony because this way we can find someone to act as our "reverend" but they don't have to be licensed. and we also thought why not go ahead and get it legalized... this way my mother couldn't ask why im still with him and blah blah blah you know the usual right?

things seem bad... but their not as bad as some people have it... so i am happy that we have at least each other happy.gif
