Hi

My name is Brendon, My brother and I have been collecting warhammer figs and playing now for the last nine years, only problem is we live in Blenheim so there is no real gaming comunity over the hill, in fact we have only ever played eachother, was wondering if you guys would like some new blood over for some games now and then, would'nt be able to make it to all your gatherings but would try for once a month at least depending on family comitments and work and the like.

our armies we have are
My brothers
Bretonions
Dwarfs
and Darkelves

and I have
Highelves
Empire
and a Nightgoblin army

and some space marines though have never played 40k

Looking forward to your reply

Brendon

Hey mate,

I'm Harry, my brother and I have also been playing for the last 9 years tongue.gif and I (try to) organise the club at the moment. I play Tomb Kings and Night Goblins in Fantasy and Sisters of Battle in 40K (though not very often...).

Would be awesome to get some more Fantasy players over (most of the new guys we get are 40K...). A few of the other Fantasy guys can only play infrequently also so with you guys keen as well we might start doing longer sessions less regularly so we can get several games in over one day. We had a tournament last weekend and we got 4 1500 point games in over the course of a day without too much trouble. The only problem is we share the clubrooms with other groups so getting a full day is usually tricky...

Our normal gaming days are at 1.30pm so I'm happy to run late to get a couple of games in and make it a bit more worthwhile for you guys. We also run tournaments and big games every now and then. Looking at running a NZ teams tournament later in the year, and we're hoping to get guys from Wellington and Christchurch to come to that.

Anyway, next session is this Sunday (21st) at 1.30pm and we normally meet every second Sunday, all the info on where it is and how to get there should be in the "Club Information" link in the post above. Best thing to do would be to post in the gaming sections of the forum to let us know you're coming over and we can organise some games for you. I'll be there this Sunday and am happy to play a couple of games. We have a good core of experienced Fantasy players at the moment so you should be able to get a couple of good games in.

Welcome to the forum!
