 I blame the Canadians  Or maybe the Europeans.....but it sounds so funny when you say Canadians because you never know what they going to say back. Well anyways, there's this big, big, big, big, big, big stare testing going on this week and I did bad on the word problems for the Math part. I hate Algebra 1.... -------------------- |

for the last 6 weeks I have done amazing with NOT biting my fingernails for the first time in nearly 20 years. slowly one by one they're getting knawed down. and I'm now only down to 2 left

I can completely relate to that. I go through cycles: a few months biting, a few not, a few biting. Currently I'm in the biting phase and my nails are really short. But I got tips put on for the wedding last weekend that are still on. I'm hoping they grew enough under there to inspire me to grow them again.

I've found a way to possibly go to graduate school in September. I'm going to apply to a Masters program at the college that I graduated from. It fits all my interests and looking at the courses that are offered makes me salivate. The moaning part of it is that I'm having a mental block for the essay part of the application. All my other essays for the other programs were pretty much the same: cutting a bit out of this one, adding it to that one, altering the same format to fit each specific program. I feel it is tired and blasse and really feel it's time to start from scratch again but it's not coming easy to me this time around.

I'm 100% positive that you will write an amazing essay, you definitely have it in you. I think it's excellent to start the essay again if you feel that way about your other one- it is good to have a fresh start. Today I was reminded why I hate summers in Croatia, stupid town officials find it as suitable time to dig holes around whole town (repairing pipelines and tram tracks) which literary means walking on planks over 2 meters deep holes, not pleasant for a person afraid of heights especially not when planks are wet, wobbly and squeaky.

My mom was home all day with some bug or something, so I couldn't even get out of the house. Basically, it was a crappy kind of day. It was nice when I woke up, and then it got cloudy and it even rained. Grr... |

I am sorry Mae to hear that, but since I have younger brother I totally know how you feel, when we were younger he pulled the same thing on me (while my mum was on business trip and I was in charge), by turning his cellphone off and not coming from school until 2 am in the morning instead of 3 pm, men are so stupid and irresponsible sometimes
 My moan of the day is my internet was broken again, I reported the bug and the guy persuaded me that everything is fine with lines since they did major update couple of days ago and that I should check my wires. Since my friend and I when we moved furniture around mostly dragged it over the wires since dressers were to heavy for us to lift I thought it was likely that wires were damaged and went to buy new ones. Only to come home 1 hour later to discover my internet working flawlessly. Liars!!! And yes I know I have new moan everyday, so you are free to call me Moaning Patricia, just don't throw books through me, kay? -------------------- |
