In recent times the drama seems to be piling up. Her parents died. She learned about vampires. Her aunt died. She's not taking it well, to say the least. JEREMY GILBERT Jeremy is the younger brother of Elena Gilbert. By the age of seventeen Jeremy has already lost two girlfriends to death, and even died himself. Luckily for Jeremy, his current girlfriend is a witch with major power in her hands. Jeremy is the first of the recently departed to show back up in the land of the living. ALARIC SALZMAN Alaric is the local history teacher by day and vampire hunter at night. The ex-husband of Isobel Flemming, with the death of his girlfriend Jenna Sommers he has taken on the role of guardian to Elena and Jeremy Gilbert. KATHERINE PIERCE Aka Katerina Petrova is the original doppelganger, born in the fifteenth century. She was disowned for having a child out of wedlock, captured by Klaus in England, and escaped his grasp only to attempt suicide, resulting her her changing into a vampire. After ruining the plan to kill Klaus in order to save Damon she has been waiting in the shadows, searching for another way to kill Klaus 535 (17) . VAMPIRE . PLAYED BY RACH

DAMON SALVATORE Damon Salvatore is the indulgent playboy, sired by his younger brother in the nineteenth century. In his human days Damon loved Katherine, only to assume she was killed in the fire along side the other vampires in Mystic Falls. In modern times Damon has returned to Mystic Falls for various reasons, and has ended up in a rather complicated situation with his brother and miss Elena Gilbert, whom he is currently in love with.. 170 (24) . STEFAN SALVATORE Stefan Salvatore, the golden boy, the one that always does the right thing, favorite of his father, and first to find immortality. Back in his human days He and Damon were killed while trying to save Katherine. After embracing his vampire nature, Stefan returned and changed his brother. Stefan has long been known for his dual nature. He's never managed to fully embrace his vampire nature. Whenever he does his humanity is completely lost to him. CAROLINE FORBES Caroline Forbes is one of the best friends of Elena Gilbert. She's the class president, the girl that heads all of the school charity functions, Prom Queen, and most recently vampire. She was "dating" Damon Salvatore for a time, and after an accident she was changed by Katherine Pierce. ANNABELLE ____ Annabelle was changed by her mother in the eighteenth century. She and her mother traveled together, hiding behind their image of widow and her young daughter as they ran a small apothecary. In the nineteenth century her mother was entombed beneath the church, only to be killed shortly after she finally escaped. Anna, however, managed to escape that fate. ROSE-MARIE DARBISHIRE Rose-Marie was born in the fourteenth century, in England. She lived a quiet life for over a century before the doppelganger fell into her lap. Rose planned to keep the girl and hand her over to Niklaus. The last thing Rose wanted was to cause problems. But problems found her, anyway. The doppelganger managed to kill herself on Rose's watch, forcing the woman to spend five hundred years on the run. ALEXIA BRANSON Lexi was born, in Italy. She had long been uncommonly humane for a vampire, rarely killing her victims when she bothers to feed on humans. She led a simple life, finding temporary joy in the passing times by attending parties, and keeping herself amused. In the eighteen hundreds she met Stefan Salvatore, and managed to remind him of his humanity. She has been his best friend ever since, and regularly tracks him down for a visit. 350 (21) . VAMPIRE . BONNIE BENNET Bonnie Bennett is one of if not the very best friend of Elena. She is a witch and also a descendant of The Salem Witches. The people she cares about mean the world to her which was why despite the warnings she used her powers to bring Jeremy back to life. There would be consequences she was told, but never could she have guessed that meant Jeremy wasn't the only person that she brought back. Now what's a girl to do, messing with the balance of nature is pretty tricky business...especially when it's caused one of Jeremy's exes to come back as well. 17 . WITCH . AVAILABLE

TYLER LOCKWOOD Tyler is the son of Richard and Carol Lockwood, and nephew of Mason Lockwood. He was portrayed to be arrogant, selfish and a bully, but after triggering the family curse that turned him into a werewolf. Tyler and Caroline eventually start a relationship, which becomes rocky when he becomes Klaus' first successful hybrid. His life made much easier with the transformation, Tyler becomes very respectful of Klaus, and tries to sabotage his friends' plotting against him. 18 . HYBRID . AVAILABLE

JULIET ____ She was a young surfer in her mid-twenties, tanned, sexy and smart. She came to Mystic Falls asking questions about the disappearance of Mason Lockwood. After learning his death she and some of her werewolf friends tried to avenge Mason's death but were expelled by Jonas and Elijah. She was later kidnapped by Klaus to be used in the sacrifice and he began the ritual by ripping her heart out. She remembers everything that happened her, and given a second chance at life...there's no telling what she'll do. 25 . WEREWOLF . AVAILABLE

MASON LOCKWOOD Mason is the Uncle of Tyler Lockwood, a lot more laid back than his older brother...he wanted nothing to do with the Founders Council and so he wasn't around very much. Returning to Mystic Falls after the death of his brother, of course it took some convincing by Elena Petrova. She wanted him around to help keep his family safe with the doppleganger in Mystic Falls as well it was matter of time before Klaus showed up. However he was killed by Damon before he could be of much help. Now that he's back, helping his nephew is what he plans to do. 30 . WEREWOLF . AVAILABLE

ELIJAH MIKAELSON Elijah is the oldest male in his family. For a long time he was loyal to his half brother, something that allowed him to escape the same fate as his siblings. However, when Elijah's younger brother became paranoid and began to keep himself hidden from the world, Elijah was free to make up his own mind. He grew distant from his brother and began to oppose the idea of breaking the curse. He only openly began to oppose his brother after the doppelganger was discovered. NIKLAUS MIKAELSON Niklaus is the youngest male in the family, and the half brother of the other siblings. Back before the original witch ever got involved with their family, Klaus' mother had an affair with another family, a werewolf family. Klaus was the result, who eventually became an unholy hybrid that the world had never anticipated. After discovering her error, the first witch put a curse on Klaus, trapping his wolf side, and rendering him relatively harmless. Over a thousand years later Klaus managed to break the curse, and even learn how to create more hybrids. 1000+ . ORIGINAL HYBRID . PLAYED BY MIA

REBEKAH MIKAELSON Rebekah is the spoiled, youngest child of the family. She's long been loyal to her half brother Klaus. In the nineteen twenties she met and fell in love with Stefan Salvatore. When she chose to stay with Stefan, rather than go with her brother, Klaus decided to "kill her", which involved stabbing her with a special tagger and trapping her for eighty ears. TATIA PETROVA She is the original, the one who Elena and Katherine resemble. Long ago she was the object of affection to many. Including both Klaus and Elijah, for reasons only she knows she never chose between them and Esther never gave her a choice. She was taken and used as a test for what would later be done to all of the originals. Her blood was taken and after swearing she would leave in exchange for her life she was killed. THE CANON LIST If there is a canon you'd like to play, who isn't listed above, just ask the staff about it and we'll probably let you make them. While you are not required to use the show PB for any of these canons, the actor or actress can only be used to portray that character. Be sure to look around and check out the wanted ads, there might be more original characters listed there that are in high demand. For canons listed, who are dead in the show, they came back when Jeremy did. They aren't ghosts. They are back in their old bodies, no strings attached. They simply can't remember the time they were dead. It's like they woke up from a long dreamless sleep, sort of like with the originals, being trapped for a few centuries. We think battles inspire creativity and good-natured competition, so please remember that if you reserve a main canon, a battle might happen. We'd love it if you stuck around anyway.
