I HAVEN'T BEEN MY SUNNY SELF

Hey guys, it's Shannon! I play the rather stubborn, feisty, and kind of mean Samantha Wilkinson. I haven't really been around too much lately due to personal reasons (of which a grand total of Mal knows about). It's been a little more than rough year for me. But anyway. I"m going to introduce myself for all of you who don't know me which is a lot of you, actually. I'm a pretty boring person as of late, I'm a manager at a movie theater, so I see a ton of movies and I keep up with a ton of actors/actresses and I'm a big geek when it comes to that sort of thing. I mean, honestly, I'm probably the one to go to when you want to know how a movie is. My entire family asks me what's good/who is 'that guy with the hair in that one movie.' Yeah, and it's pretty much a game. I find it absolutely baffling when I can't use actors' names in conversations with people. It's... it's really hard for me to take someone seriously if they can't name the people in a movie we're watching- or at least if they don't want to know. It's one good thing about working with people who actually follow movies with the same gusto I do.Besides movies, I'm big on television as well. It's almost the same as movies. Really, I should just tell you 'pop culture' is my passion. So, find me a profession that I can keep up with that stuff and get paid for it, and I'd love you forever. (Maybe I should work with E!) Anyway, I'm a pretty non-serious person unless you tend to grate my nerves, then I can just be mean and vindictive (yeah, I'm a lot like Sam in how moody I can be). I don't do cool things like skydive and SCUBA diving... But I would like to one day! I love anything Disney (with the exception of new Tim Burton films, sorry guys, but he just needs to STOP), and I've been to Disneyland three times. I have a Disney tattoo and I'm pretty much a twelve year old when I step foot on Disney property. As far as music goes, I have a pretty wide selection. I adore Ke$ha (and I don't care if you don't, because honestly she's cooler than you), Britney Spears, and some awesome pop. But then I stand by The Used since their first album. Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Sick Puppies, and even into country like Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift. Yeah. Just give me anything to listen to as long as it's not shit, and I'm happy. I'm always out looking for new music, and I've bought CDs of artists I've never heard of and fallen in love with them. It's just a hobby of mine.I don't know what I'm doing with my life yet, and it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm not crazy about the all too common 'settling' people do in life. I want to find something I love to do, so that way I'm not dreading work. I'll find that something one of these days... I mean, I'm bound to, right? Okay. I think I've ranted on and on about practically nothing... so I'm going to end this by telling you I'm still around and I'm not going anywhere. I'm just a little sad. Haha, thanks to Ke$ha for the song that pretty accurately describes what I'm going through at the moment. All in all, I'm just a big dork and get excited about small, insignificant things. Just going through some stuff that keeps me from being 100% into things as of late. It'll get better though, no need to worry about me.

That second picture is adorable! I think it's really cool that you work at a movie
theater; I can never get a job at one (they are always fully staffed). I like Tim
Burton, but I didn't care for the Alice remake. And, I think his is the Snow white
remake too, I won't even see that one probably. And that weird one, Dark Shadows,
not really understanding that one. But, aw well. I used to love The Used when I was
on my My Chemical Romance kick. I listen to a lot of pop music, but I like lots of
different kinds. I like to stumble on random artists on youtube to get a new music
obsession And, I think Jennifer Lawrence is just beautiful!

I wish we were always fully staffed (with people who actually aren't huge idiots)! But it's not a bad job- it could always be worse. I've had somewhere ask me to make a career out of sitting on my ass and doing computer work... But yeahhh. My motivation level is zero, and sitting me in front of a computer is like... Dumb. I could spend my life doing nothing useful if it was my career. I'd die, actually. But the Snow White and the Huntsman is not actually Tim Burton- or it'd star Johnny Depp and Helena Bohnam Carter. But I will see that one (and clench my jaw everytime I see stupid fuckin' Kristen Stewart. Hate her. She sucks. And honestly Chris Hemsworth isn't the reason I'm gonna see it- it's Charlize Theron. I adore that woman. But anyway. Johnny Depp is fail. Tim Burton is fail too. Alice in Wonderland was BAD. Dark Shaadows was BAD. It's just. God. Quit. Like. They both have more than enough money to sustain their lives. Just stop. Haha.

And thanks about the picture. I'm just a dork and serious pictures aren't my thing. I should show y'all the progressively getting shorter my hair went through. That would make for an interesting assessment. Since 9th grade, I cut it shorter and shorter and shorter. Last November I went pixie. But I'm growing it back out now, because... Idk. I get bored quickly and can't make decisions to save my life. The Used is probably the coolest thing since sliced bread and I own every album they have. (: And YouTube is probs the best place to get some new music obsessions. Like Boyce Avenue. Check 'em out if you haven't heard of them! And Jennfer Lawrence is perfection. Because she's not perfect. She's the queen of derp. Yep. Yeah. But it's all good. She's an obsession of mine <3 I couldn't let anyone else have her.
