HEY I HEARD YOU LIKE THE WILD ONES</div>
<center><div style="width:400px; text-align:justify; line-height:90%;">
Tina watched as Sirius stood there and stared at her, his eyes impossibly wide as if he was having trouble seeing her properly. And his mouth kept gaping open and closed like a fish out of water and she was a little bit afraid that maybe someone had jinxed him. This was not usual behavior for Sirius who was usually so cool and contained, always with a cocky smile planted on his face. His ego was so large that he never had those moments of uncertainty that the rest of the world suffered from and he certainly didn't stand around gaping like an idiot. Tina didn't flatter herself into thinking that she could really drop the jaw of Sirius Black. He was popular and handsome, the girls in her dorm were always giggling on about him. Yes, this must be a jinx. Or maybe a joke. Maybe he was pulling her leg. You never knew with him. Then he blurted out that he thought she was gorgeous and she had to smile at that, every girl liked to be told that she was gorgeous. Especially since she had spent hours picking out her dress and making sure she looked lovely for this event. Tina chose to assume that he was not joking around with her, mostly because he seemed so earnest.
"Thank you!" She said enthusiastically feeling very happy now with her choice of dress.

Everything seemed to be normal until Sirius reached out and touched the skirt of her dress. Tina watched with bewilderment as he felt the fabric of her dress and commented on how soft it was. She wasn't really sure how she should react to that. Was he high? Apparently he had finally learned how to smoke the joint correctly. Last time all he had done was complain about how he wasn't feeling anything.
"I can't believe you smoked without me!" That really had to be the only logical explanation for this strange behavior. The gaping and the lack of focus, reaching out to touch her dress in such an inappropriate fashion. Tina giggled slightly when he pulled his hand away.
"Don't worry about it. I know how that is." She spent a lot of time smoking, more than she should probably, and she often was overtaken by strange urges to touch things. Tapestries and portraits, one time she had rubbed her hands all over a suit of armor. Things just felt different when you were in an altered state of mind.
"So you finally figured out how long to hold the smoke in? Proud of you." She reached out and patted his shoulder.

Her eyebrows shut up when Sirius felt the need to emphasize that he wasn't crazy. Yeah, she knew that. Well maybe she knew that. He was acting a little bit crazy right now. Apparently he hadn't yet figured out what his tolerance was. It seemed that no one at this party had figured out their tolerance. Past Sirius's shoulder she swore that she could see Slughorn on his knees in front of McGonagall. And was he singing a song? What the hell? Not to mention the whole thing with Kirley and Lottie. Something was obviously going on and Tina was a little miffed that she wasn't a part of it. She felt left out because she was perfectly sober while everyone else seemed to be going out of their minds.
"Do you think someone spiked the punch?" That seemed like something that a mischievous student would do, someone like Sirius for example.
"You didn't do anything, right? Because I am pretty sure this would earn you detention for the rest of your life. Even after Hogwarts you will still have to come back for detentions." Tina enjoyed Sirius's pranks when she wasn't the subject but she also didn't want him to get into serious trouble. Sometimes you just had to know when to not take it too far.

Her eyes wandered around the room watching people's strange behavior until Sirius said her name and she looked back at him. Strange, he seemed almost nervous. But Sirius Black didn't get nervous. Not even when they were out skinny dipping in the lake. She had been the one trying to get into the water before he saw all of her naughty bits. But he had walked all casually nice and slow so that she had gotten quite the eyeful. Nothing could make him nervous. Tina was completely stunned when he took her hand and started talking about how they had only known each other for five years and this stuff. Where the hell was he going with this.
"I love you." Oh. Tina had no idea what to say so she just stood there blinking like an idiot for a few moments.
"What?" This was so weird. Love? Her and Sirius hadn't even gone on a date or had anything romantic between them. Well...except for the kiss in the lake and that had been casual. Or at least Tina had assumed that Sirius thought it was casual. He wasn't exactly the type to get into legit relationships.
"You're funny. But honestly, you could have thought of a better prank." She pulled her hand out of his, slightly annoyed. If he thought this was funny then it wasn't. It was kind of mean. What if she had actually had a crush on him? What if he did this to some poor girl who liked him? It was kind of cruel.
"You should stick to exploding chocolate. At least that was funny."</div>
