Ben Hogestyn has been cast as the character of Lucas on GENERAL HOSPITAL. His first air date is Thursday, September 22nd. The character will continue to be involved with Dillon/Georgie/Maxie/Brook Lynn/Diego/Seth storyline… dealing with their freshman year at Port Charles University.

Past credits include AMERICAN DREAMS, THE DIVISION, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GIRLS BEHAVING BADLY, NEDS DECLASSIFIED and HEAD TO TOE.

Ryan Carnes who portrayed the role for the past few years has decided to move on… and the cast and crew wish him well in all of his future professional endeavors.

Something fun is happening on GENERAL HOSPITAL:

In anticipation of the upcoming DANCING WITH THE STARS special, actor (and now dancer) John O'Hurley will play a Port Charles police officer that shows up on the doorstep of Sam McCall; he and a detective are looking for Sam's boyfriend Jason Morgan. The episode will air on Tuesday, September 20th at 3PM ET, 2PM PT on ABC the afternoon prior to the dance-off.

I was just stuck in traffic and had every rude person near me it seemed yesterday. I had to go to this PARTICULAR place to get a baby shower gift - where my boss is registered. Wasn't no Baby's R Us - lemme just say that. :blink: Weather's been nice though.... B) D --------------------

Email #1: Just a quick note to let you know that we are beginning to set up things for Emmy Weekend 2006 in Los Angeles, CA. While we have not confirmed any individual events at this point, we have set up a room block with the Sportsmens Lodge Hotel for your convenience from Tuesday, April 25, through Monday, May 1, 2006. For those of you wanting to move ahead with your plans, our block this year is set up under GH Weekend or General Hospital Weekend in order to prevent any confusion for anyone. Pricing is as follows: City View $110 single/double occupancy Pool View $135 single/double occupancy Suites $185 single/double occupancy We will also be have a boutique set up at the hotel on Thursday and Friday morning for your convenience by buying wonderful official General Hospital Fan Club merchandise! Be sure to watch for our flyers in the lobby and for us in our new location near the pool! We will definitely work on getting some folks to stop by to say hi, sign a few autographs and maybe take a photo or two! Also, newsletters are being worked on, hopefully those will be out mid December. I also hope to have the party information posted up on the GHFC.com site tomorrow, so check back frequently. Looks like I confused a lot of folk last night with my update. Just to clarify everything here goes. No the GHFCW is not in April, it is in July and dates will be posted on the website today at some point. The room block that we have set up was just for convenience to the GH fans that were coming out to Los Angeles for the daytime Emmy’s in April. We will also be there in April, but just to have fun ourselves. We thought it would be fun to have the fan club boutique open at that time also, so we could meet fans in a less hectic atmosphere. During GH weekend I have so much on my mind, it is kind of hard to chat with folks and meet them the way I would like. The GHFCW is in July, we will also have a room block set up for that weekend at a later date. It is not yet available for booking. The GHFCW Kickoff Event on Thursday night 5-10 is in July not April.
