Gh's Loss, What he meant to his GH Fans

Hello.

I am 35, and have been a fan since 1984. Anyway, I am a huge fan of Greg's acting and what he brought to the character of Lucky Spenser. Its almost as if J. Jackson grew up on GH, helped 'Liz" through the rape; only to be kidnapped by Helaina. Then came along J. Young, who pretty much played Helaina's toy robot under mind-control. Then, finally; Greg came along and rejuvenated the character.

I still remember his first scene as Lucky. He was in the hospital walking towards Liz, as they announced the role change. He then sat down next to her on the couch to the right of the nurse's station. He gave Lucky some backbone. While I love GH, what they did to Greg was just cruel. I mean, I am glad that he was able to land an independent movie and 90210; so, I guess that I may need to watch some of those episodes; as a loyal fan. I try to catch an occasional episode of Stuart Damon; Lynn Herring; and just today while channeling surfacing, I came across Jon Lindstrom.

Needless to say, J. Jackson may be a good actor and even though he originated the role as Lucky Spenser; the tables have changed and it is him, who has big shoes to fill! Besides, it is somewhat difficult if not painful to watch J.Jackson as a police officer.

Greg Vaughan is the only Lucky in my mind and I've seen all of them as I've been watching Gh since 1963........GH has lost a great actor as so many others that have moved on. Greg will do just fine :high5:

Hello Josh, Welcome to GVB. :)

We all definately miss Greg gracing our tv screens as Lucky Spencer, but we are excited for what is ahead for him too. :up: In a way, this may have been the best thing to happen to Greg. He is now free to move on to bigger and better things and not be stuck in a place where he is not used..

You hit the nail on the head Josh! Also, felt weird watching Lucky's scenes with Jason yesterday, with Greg you could at least feel the tension between the Characters. now it feels like Lucky is alittle
kid again..
