I know that's the way it is in the comics, but I personally dont agree with it.
I mean Zor-El is her father just as Jor-El is Kal-El's Father and his name isn't Kal Jor-El So I view it as a fauxpas on the comic book world. Besides, it's the House of El not the House of Jor-El or the House of Zor-El. It's just my personal preferance to drop it for my version. But thank you for your concern

I am aware of the differance. It's consistant. Male Kryptonian's are named differently than female Kryptonians. Male's are are given name hyphnen family name (such as Kal-El) where females are given name followed by father's name (such as Kara Zor-El) until they marry (Laura In-Ze became Laura Jor-El, although at that point, most forgo the use of last names.). There is a method to the madeness.
