Sci-Fi Channel Friday nights at 10PM (Im on the east coast). If you like Sci-Fi, action, or drama then you should really check it out, last weeks episode was made so well I cried from being so pulled into the moment.

ya know, i havent been able to acutally catch it yet, but ive heard really good things about it. sex, death, and outer space, i dont know how you can go wrong. i do remeber the old old one that sucked **bleep**.

Well the old one was oriented as a family show, but the new one is really dark. The characters are great and the story just gets ya hooked. Its actually got me to cry 2 weeks in a row, from moments that were just so perfectly executed.

Yay I got the Season 1 DVD boxset.

nice does it have some good extra's?

I'm impatient and cheap so I went ahead and got the UK version from best buy for $40 but all it has is 50 minutes of deleted sceens. The US version (due out September 20th with a $70 list price) will have making of featurettes and commentary aswell as the deleted sceens. But I was more worried with just getting the Episodes, but the US version Comes with the Miniseries which I already bought a while back which was further reason to get the UK version (a best buy exclusive).

nice, sounds like a good deal, but for a battlestar newbie like myself, i think the us version would be a better choice lol.

Ya the mini series disk being included with the US version is a good selling point for those who didnt already have it. I got the mini series on 2-25-05 for $18.92 (hehe i had the recipt in my GT4 case cause I got them the same day)

And If I wasn't on such a tight budget and didn't have the miniseries already I would have waited for the US Version. It would be nice to hear the commentary and watch the featurettes though.

Season 2.5 has started, watch it... ;)

Never seen it, but I hear good things. I'll probably buy Season 1.

You really should, I have the UK version of season one :lol: ... But it is the best series I have ever seen!!!

The 2nd half of Season 2 was cool, and the 3rd season is supposed to air in October. And the Season 2.5 DVD is due in September.(according to Amazon)
